~ Work on complete end to end data migrations using
VMAX SRDF setup.
~ Handling complete migration related activities like repli-
cation setups, cutovers and application handovers along
with reclamations
of old storage systems.
• Old VMAX arrays to New PowerMAX arrays migrations
comprising of different OS platforms.
~ Planning the replication setup of applications well in ad-
vance which are going to be migrated
~ Prepare Run-book for all the Change records placed for
that week and represent the Changes in the internal and
external CAB meetings.
~ Work on Hitachi and VMAX replications and make sure all
the replication groups run smoothly without issues.
~ Work on Change records and prepare all documents for
the Storage activities on weekly basis. Attend CAB meet-
ings to get the approvals
for Changerecords by following
all standards setup by Change management
~ Work on Priority incidents and Seva tickets by handling
the Incident management meetings. Prepare RCAs for
the Storage related issues occurred during incidents.
• DRexercises planning and document DR practices.
~ Work on System upgrades and make sure all the systems
are up to latest code versions. Actively Participate in Transition, catch all key points, Cre-
ate Review Documents and store in team room.
~ Worked on EMC VMAX, EMC VNX, EMC Unity, Netapp FAS
2520 and FAS 8200 Storage systems.
~ Work on Sev1 tickets and troubleshoot issues.
• DRexercises planning and implementation. Work on all
DR test activities related to Storage systems and help.
Business continuity Team with regularupdates and time-
lines during the activity.
~ Work on System upgrades as per client requirements.
~ Perform DB refresh activities of the servers using the
snapshots

• Provide technical assistance for maintenance of necessary storage infrastructure components which includes VMAX, VNX, NETAPP, RPA, Brocade and Pure Storage systems.
• Work on all the day to day storage related activities like provisioning, monitoring alerts and generate health check reports.
• Perform Migrations tasks along with host technical teams for all storage related activities
• Troubleshooting day to day SAN and NAS Storage systems and host related issues.
• Work on reclamations of storage with host team’s coordination.
• Plan and perform decommissions of all the old storage systems along with cleanup activity.
• Responsible for the ITIL activities with respect to the storage systems. Ensure participation in the incident, change and problem management calls.
• Set up replication through RP and work along with host teams on migration of servers.
• Consult respective storage vendors in resolving critical issues pertaining to outages.
• Update all the SOP’s and documents of all Storage Administration and Storage management Procedures.
• Assisted in implementation and testing of disaster recovery methodology and procedures.
• Managing Qtrees like creation, resizing & sharing and allocating Quotas.
• Managing quotas for shares and exports from Netapp storage.
• Perform DB refresh activities of the master and slave servers using the snapshots.

Working on SRM Suite to generate performance reports
of all
the datacenters.
Working on discovering Storage boxes, Switches, hosts and
systems related to Storage environment on SRM suite.
Monitoring and reporting on standards and performance tar-
gets Generate performance reports
of critical applications and
present the same to client.
Close all the SRs, CRs and Tasks related to Storage tower
within the timeframe.
Work on Local replication activities like TF Clone and TF Snap
also on Remote Replication activities like SRDF/A
