Role and responsibilities:
• Reporting to Hari Prakash Pandey, Executive Director & Manoj Paliwal, CEO- Affordable Housing
• Responsible for developing, implementing, sustenance of EHS Management system in the organization and drive Zero Harm culture in the organization
• Create awareness through focused training and initiatives among internal and external stakeholders in areas of EHS
• Conducting EHS audits, inspection, of high risk construction work sites including plant and equipment, fire fighting systems, FAPA, Transformers, Chillers, HVAC, etc.
• EHS- MIS reporting to senior leadership and operations team
• Incident investigation, reporting and CAPA management
• EHS Data management
• Health and wellness management of employees and contract workforce including COVID-19 vaccination
• Emergency Management and its effectiveness monitoring
• Part of core team for implementing EHS best practices like solar power plant, Miyawaki forests, Organic waste composting, rain water harvesting system, energy efficient systems, innovative machinery to improve productivity and minimize risks
• Part of the core team for CSR initiatives implementation

• Responsible for setting up EHS Standards and processes and implementation of EHS Management System (as per OHSAS 18001:2007 + ISO 14001:2004 standard)
• Enrich safety culture by implementing Behaviour Based safety principles and standards
• Part of core team for implementing Total Quality Management
• Part of core team for screening Contractors and setting Contractor Safety Management Standard
• Responsible for review and updating of Legal Register of Regulation and presenting compliance to top management
• Responsible for integration of core business functions namely Planning, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Contracts and Execution with EHS vision and policy
• Conduct periodic inspections & EHS Internal audits of critical project and guide the Construction Management team and Contractors on CAPA implementation
• Responsible for review and updating of Legal Register of Regulation and presenting compliance to top management
• Train the Construction Management Team on EHS Policies, HIRAC, EIAC, Emergency Preparedness and on critical Construction activities
• Responsible for EHS Knowledge Management
• Report EHS statistics, trends and CAPA plan to top management
• Review of EHS Performance with contractors and construction management team
Additional responsibility- Conduct EHS audit of all projects and train the Construction Management associates in Behaviour Based Safety process.

• Conduct quarterly EHS Internal audits of projects and half yearly office safety audits

• Participating in Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) process by writing EHS application, conduct audits for Tata Group companies and continually improvising EHS process by benchmarking with best in class organization.
Worked as Divisional HSE Head of Godrej- Precision Engineering, which pioneers in the engineering & manufacturing of National defense equipments like Mobile Autonomous Launcher (MAL), Mobile Replenishment vehicle (MRV) for launching BRAHMOS missile, Nuclear power equipments like Large & Small Rotating Plug (LRP- SRP) for Fast breeder reactor, Transfer Cask for handling of used nuclear fuel, CO2 Adsorber used for absorbing CO2 from nuclear submarine, CALANDRIA, equipments for generating renewable energy- wind mill components for ENERCON & REGEN and customized jobs for steel and related industries.
Achieved zero fatality for 3 consecutive years. Also responsible for creating greener environment by implementing green procurement, recycling of waste and use of energy efficient lighting.

Started my career as a Shop supervisor at Heavy Engineering Division of L&T Ltd. Powai works in 1996.Groomed to become a competant shop engineer with developed engineering skills of advance fabrication technology, non-destructive testing, material handling, planning, scheduling and execution of critical jobs like heat exchanger, Boiler, Pressure vessel, Multi-wall convertor, jacketed pressure vessel, cement mill body.
