· Prime responsibility is to work on all the Tenders and Contracts that are received by Lucent Technologies.
· Analysis of Tenders and elaboration of Techno Commercial Proposals based on the Client s specifications.
· Maintaining the Quality Standards and Procedures in the Overall Bids, Proposals and Technical Analysis of Tenders.
· Participated in the Certification of ISO for Lucent Technologies.
· Participation in negotiation, explain Technical solutions and follow up with Clients on advice, technical issues etc.
· Dealing with Subcontractors and 3rd Party Companies in the preparation of Terms and Conditions for their involvement in the Project
· Technical evaluation of all the Tenders / Projects that are submitted by Lucent Technologies to Saudi Telecom, Saudi Aramco and other Customers.
· Preparation of Bids and Proposal for the Saudi Aramco as per Saudi Aramco’s Standard Contract Specifications.
· Interacting and negotiating with the Customers and Subcontractors on the technical and legal issues of the Tender
· Preparation of the Statement of compliance / non-compliance for the
projects according to the customer technical specification and scope of work in the Tender specifications.
· Engineering and design of complete Telephone Exchange (Service Node,
Local Exchange and MSC) including host and remote sites and their power plants, according to the technical specifications of the customer.
· Site Surveys and preparation of the Schematic Diagrams and Network layout according to the Project.
· Generation of Bill of Quantities according to the project's technical specifications.
· Conduct briefings, short trainings and presentations for customers and inter department as and when required.
· Follow up and monitoring of contract / project implementation
· Dimensioning of Digital Exchanges (OCB 283) as per traffic density & medium selection in different localities for the network
· Network study for the Multi Exchange Areas (MEA) and generation of Multi Exchange Trunking Diagram using Trunk Sizing Package (TSP) software
· Preparation of Bill of Quantities and Commercial Offer for the up gradation and expansion of existing and new exchanges in the Pakistan Telecom. Co. Ltd (PTCL's) Network.
· Study of "Integrated Services Digital Netwrok (ISDN)" and Intelligent Network (IN) for Pakistan Telecom. Co. Ltd.
· Study of Telecommunication potential, growth and market size of the Pakistan Telecommunication Network. (The study is conducted annually to match the projected figures, both financially and physically).
· Study of Competitor s market share and also to identify the telecommunication products and services that are being provided/offered by the competitors.
