Ensure underwriting contracts are administered and recorded accurately, and on time.

Oversees activities of the underwriting department. Provides supervision for a group of underwriters who review, analyze, and inspect insurance risk.
Analyzes various rate plans utilizing a company's claims history to determine the appropriate rate plan and benefits costs.
Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
Review documents for accuracy and timeliness.
Reporting to branch head on daily basis regarding production and claims.

Asses new and renewal applications in coordination with the underwriting team in Oman in order to evaluate the loss ratios and premiums.
Prepare insurance documents like quotations, policy wordings, insurance certificates, endorsements, and debit/credit notes for group life, group medical & individual line of business.
Apply various underwriting techniques and standards to ensure accurate analysis.
Coordinating with TPA in order to issue the medical cards and solve any technical related issues.
Preparing various reports pertaining to monthly production, closing, claims etc. and sharing the same with the management in Oman.
Processing the reimbursement claims as per the terms & conditions agreed in the policy wording.
Communicating with contracted facilitator and brokers in order to generate new business from the market and develop new strategies as per the needs of the clients.
Sharing new ideas with the management on individual and group medical plans as per the market trend.
Maintaining a healthy filling record as per the guidelines of the company.
Assisting the management to launch new products in the market.
Meeting clients, brokers, facilitators etc. as and when required.
Effectively handled incoming and outgoing phone calls from all customers.

Define medical insurance policies as per the table of benefits issued towards the client.
Responsible for undertaking any technical related issues like Premium adjustments, Member corrections, Package amendments etc.
Identify and understands the underwriting information supplied by the line manager and ensures any further information required are obtained or gathered from the relevant sources.
Prepare policy documents/certificates of insurance and endorsements by entering appropriate and adequate underwriting information.
Prepare and verify accounting documents - debit / credit notes - issued in favour of clients / brokers, etc.
Assist underwriters in monthly closing.
Review and rectify the medical census received by the clients.
Maintain a filling system to keep a record of all documents issued.
Issue endorsements on health insurance policies.
Prepare renewal assessment documents.
Reconciling the data entered in the system in order to match with the books of accounts.
Responsible to supervise the biggest group medical policies of gulf region (AFYA & KPC)
Resolving the queries of the clients and educating them about other insurance products available in the company.
