Plan & maintain stock level to carry out day to maintenance activity in polymer plant.
Received work assignment from Section head.
Collect the required tools and materials from store working location.
Receive work order / permit and related, drawings & assesses plans or jobs,
Carried out variety of skilled repairs and inspection of rotating equipment on site.
Replacing coupling parts, replacing oil / Lip seals, Packing, Mechanical seals.
Checking and replacing worn out shaft, takes carefully measurement during Inspections
and repairs the run-out shaft.
Repair and replacement of rotating equipment in workshops .
Checks on pump assemblies, Face landings, Joint landing and bearing housing.
Dismantling, Cleaning and replacing the worn out assemblies, Parts for pumps, Fans,
Compressor and turbine.
Check for proper alignment and tolerance, using micrometer, filler, gauges, vernire caliper.
Keeping all safety rules and practicing good housekeeping and taking care of all tools and
Requirement after completion of the job.
• POWER UTILITY/AUXILIARY PLANT (WATER TREATMENT):Overhauling and Maintenance of multistage centrifugal/screw compressors, different types of pumps, plate type heat exchangers, agitators, pressure vessels, overhauling of hydrogen plant and related equipments. Chemical & water storage tanks, Rotary blowers, valves, Nitrogen flushing system, Heavy fuel oil system, Gas line maintenance, Hydrogen plant maintenance, Pneumatic motors, Hydraulic systems, Chlorine plant, maintenance, vaporizer maintenance, maintenance of cooling water system. Steam generator maintenance. Familiar with Screw type compressors Ingersoll-Rand, Atlas Capco, Boge etc. Trouble shooting and maintenance of Boiler auxiliaries like burner control, feed water system etc., Also familiar with fire fighting systems Pump maintenance, emergency diesel pump maintenance (fire fighting), sprinkler system, deluge valves, maintenance of foam pump etc.,
• IN POWER PLANT: Maintenance and Overhauling of all kinds of Mechanical Rotating, static & reciprocating Equipment used in Power Plant. To attend mechanical Equipments i.e., 900 tons boilers, Multi-stage Centrifugal Pumps, Heat exchangers, Safety and Relief Valves, Fans (Forced/Induced Draft), Gear Boxes, Fuel Station (Gas, Diesel and HFO), Air Heaters, Blowers, Dearators, and all types of valves (Manual and Motorized)
• Working knowledge and maintenance of the following make PUMPS

- Planning, scheduling and supervision of teams engaged in eraction and installation of Boiler parts(Rotating, Stationary @ pressure parts),
- Planning, scheduling and supervision of teams in execution of Preventive/corrective, and shutdown maintenance jobs.
- Estimation of Man-hours, material & time collection.
- Co-ordination with Operation & Maintenance etc.
- Co-ordination with Contractors.
- Performance evaluation of subordinates.
