As a Regional Management Accountant my responsibilities included;
- Supporting General Manager with annual budgeting and business planning strategies & financial projections
- Establishment and delivery of regional turnover, profit & overhead targets
- Management of project review financial and risk positions on large scale construction projects delivered within the business
- Support Business Unit in assessing and managing pre-contractual and contractual risks and assisting with bids & conversion targets
- Management of half year and year- end processes to ensure SBU’s have completed all of their costs reports.
- Liaise with senior management to ensure appropriate new work is forecasted for subsequent years and these are in line with business strategy and desired growth objectives.
- Complete Overhead forecasts and rolling forecasts for the year
- Cash Management (preparation of projected cash flows)
- Preparation of projects analysis reports with variance commentary for General Manager and Cost Controllers
- Journal and administer overhead cost centers
- Develop, enhance & and adhere to accounting systems and policies to enable an efficient and effective business support process
- Management of operational branch finance duties while assisting the Finance manager Capex requests and analysis
- Key contact and source of knowledge for branch and regional finance, administration and accounts issues
- Key support to the Regional Finance Manager in the management of regional financial reporting, administration and accounts management.
- Compilation of turnover calculations for WIP projects
- Pencil up close projects and make changes in MIS forecast secured screens.
- Maintain the bank guarantees schedule and dealing with banks and Sydney head office for guarantee renewals or extensions.
- Assist senior finance manager with auditors (KPMG) audit requirements.
- Participate and represent Australian (Canberra) office in yearly consolidation of accounts exercise at head office in Sydney where CFO’s from LLC US, UK and other parts of the Asia Pacific region present their yearly financial statements.
Worked as an Accountant Advisor in the business services department and my responsibilities included
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Preparation of Income Tax Returns for individuals companies and trusts.
• Preparation of organizational structure charts.
• Updating reviewed accounts.
Worked as a finance officer responsibilities Includes:
• Maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable of clients located all over Australia.
• Preparation of Bank reconciliation statements.

Worked as a Financial Analyst. During the period of my work, I was engaged in multifaceted tasks. Major area of my work covered the following Job responsibilities.
• Preparation of feasibility reports for new projects to be undertaken
• Responsible for generation of various analytical and comparative reports for the purpose of management review. These included:
• Calculation of working capital requirement
• monitoring debtors and creditor period
• analysis of short term borrowing requirements
