Motorola Solutions UK Ltd is implementing SAP Business One ERP and advanced Manufacturing Add-ons for SAP Business One to manage a new SKD factory for one of its biggest client in the northern Africa region. The SKD assembly factory is delivered for the end customer to assembly the radios. The package includes all aspects of Business Management Process including the ERP system for driving day to day operations as planning, purchasing, production, sales and maintenances tasks.
I was responsible and had driven all the sales process and won this deal (ERP presentation and live demonstrations of the solution, negotiating and signing the general agreement). Now, I am playing the Project Management role and responsible for this ERP implementation. The project is based in Germany in its first phase, I would say in the biggest part of it. Then it will be deployed in the end customer site based in the northern Africa region where I will be in charge of the final preparation as Acceptance test and end-user training and support.

This project is conducted as a first step of Governance and Risk Management to full fill all the requirements to fit the requirements of the Solvency II regulation.
As a shareholder of the company, I was in charge of the Business Development of the E.R.P Algerian Market especially in the midsized enterprises which present the big potential in Algeria and the northern African region. The main activities done during this period are:
• Supplier Relationship Management (Becoming SAP Partner): The process of becoming partner is very strong (Training and certification of the consultant and development teams, Marketing and Business plan)
• Selection of customers: Phoning, emailing and direct costumer contacts
• Sales and marketing events as trade shows, special events…
• System ERP live demonstration,
• Sales quotation and contract negotiations
• Project logistic.
SAP ERP consultant and in charge of consulting activities oriented to business improvements and enhancement of information technology systems by implementing new ERP and other business software.
For more than 4 years I was involved as a consultant in many ERP and organization projects and many industry areas as telecommunications, Retail, Car Distribution, Construction Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, Live insurance, Banking, leasing, High technology…
This was a short experience as a junior consultant in charge of setting up a controlling methodology to define with more accuracy the product cost. The second objective of this project is reengineering of the sales process to be able to edit more and more sales quotations and arise the rate of transforming the sales quotations into sales orders.
After the engineer studies, I have decided to take another way and complete the knowledge I had of management be more flexible and ready for the wide range of job position rather than becoming a searcher in biology or food industry. Then, I have studied one year full time the Management of Production and Organization of companies. During this year, I had my knowledge and skills of several Business Process and Management functions of the enterprise as Sales, Purchasing, Controlling, Project Management, Human Resources, Production and planning… After finalizing this Diploma, I start working immediately after university as Consultant in organization and Business Software implementation especially SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
The DEA or Diploma of Deeper Studies in Microbiology and Biotechnology considered as 5 studies in the University and is following my Engineer studies done in Algeria. The aim of these studies is to start high level studies in order to obtain a PHD in the same environment.
Five years studies in the National Institute of Agricultural sciences. The two last year are oriented to the Food industry, or the industry of a transformation of fresh vegetables and fruits.
