Teaching various subjects under the Department of Humanities and Social Sustainability at both the male
and female campus. The courses currently taught are: World Regions: Middle Eastern Culture and Society,
Introduction to International Relations, Comparative Politics of the Middle East, Emirati History.
Created all course syllabi as well as grading schemes and learning assessments
• Setting the foundation for an American Studies Unit, that aims to monitor and evaluate publications of American think tanks that concern the GCC region and the UAE.
• Assessing the impact of lobbies and lobbyists on US foreign policy in relation to the GCC and the UAE
• Prearranged and organized the Inaugural Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate that was held at Emirates Palace, 18-20 October, 2014.
• Provided analysis reports to the Japanese Ministry on relevant political and economic policy developments in the UAE.
• Monitored the news and report on pertinent issues concerning terrorism and national/ regional security.
• Consulted and report on trade and investment opportunities.
Translating documents, brochures, books from Arabic to English.
Editing English documents and books
• Translated all official letters, reports, legal drafts and administrative decisions from Arabic to English
• Translated all of the ADG’s policy briefs and proposals from English to Arabic for the Director General
• Researched the relationship between the Trucial States in the Persian Gulf and the British Government, through the analysis of political and business agreements, transliterating and tracing locations, and places documented in such dated records
• Proofread and edited a book to be published by the Centre by the end of 2009
• Published an article in collaboration with other employees in the Centre’s Academic Journal “Liwa, ” in its December 2009 Issue
• Wrote and edited a book about a well-known UAE resident comprising of seven chapters, to be published in the Centre’s name
