• Ensure materials for projects are procured well within budget and delivered on a timely basis to meet work requirements
• Handling material approvals and subcontractor prequalification in compliance with project specifications and requirements
• Managing Full Engineering and Procurement procedure for Steel Doors, Wooden Doors, and Door Hardware Packages at Khiran Mall Project (Merged Package Amount more than USD 1, 500, 000)
• Managing E1 & E2 Logs and performing periodic review until completion of entire construction works at Khiran Mall Project
• Enrollment and Coordination with Contracts Department in Project Packages Development, Quantity Surveying and material take-off, FIDIC Contracts, Variation Orders, Monthly Progress Payments, Value Engineering, Deduction Notices, and Claims at Khiran Mall Project
• Reviewing of Subcontract Agreements including Scope of Work, Terms and Conditions in coordination with contracts department
• Conduct and handle periodic meetings with Client and Subcontractors/Suppliers for material options, approvals, and procurement
• Techno-Commercial evaluation of quotations based on project specifications, budget, and time schedule for vendor recommendation
• Performing negotiation and persuasion with Subcontractors and Vendors with Executives, including but not limited to technical compliance with specifications and requirements, quality assurance, production period, commercial terms, LC documents, and Logistics
• Tracking of material delivery, inspection, invoices, and payments in coordination with site store, QC, and accounts
• Evaluation and Management of supplier/subcontractor performance periodically and update their qualifications in procurement data base
• Procurement procedure planning, implementation, and management on project
• Arrangement of market research, material take-off, RFQs, purchase orders, and service agreements
• Development and supervision of Document Control and reporting system on project
Performed an 8 week internship program with CCC which is part of the BACS Consortium containing Bechtel, AlMabani, CCC, and Siemens. The BACS consortium is working on the Riyadh Metro Project that consists of 2 lines that connects the north of Riyadh to its south and the western part of Riyadh to its East. The internship program was divided into 2 parts: Engineering department rotation and construction site rotation. In the department rotation, we have visited several departments such as the safety department, procurement, QA/QC, risk management, engineering, MEP, project controls, planning, and sustainability. In each department, we were introduced to the tasks of each department and given some workshops and training exercises. In the second month of the internship, we visited 4 sites, 1 site per week. The sites were divided between viaducts, at level grade, and underground rails, in addition to metro facilities and stations. In each site, we were introduced to the process of work being done such as excavation works, TBM works, precast segments placement for viaducts. Besides, we participated with the engineers present on site in inspecting and supervising the work done by foremen and labor.
Performed a 1 month training with Khatib and Alami in the B11 Residence site in Beirut Central District Lebanon. Participated in finishing works: block works, plaster, and paint. Also participated in few concrete works.
Trained for 2 months with Homan Engineering Company on the Spot C - Choueifat Mall in Choueifat City, Lebanon. Participated, alongside the section engineer, in reinforced concrete works, steel preparation supervision, formwork erection, concrete placement in vertical elements, finishing activites, and other on-site tasks.
