Claims management in insurance involves the systematic process of handling and resolving insurance claims made by policyholders. My process involves categorizing documents sent by the claimants to be processed by different departments. It is a critical function in the insurance industry, encompassing everything from the initial claim filing to the final settlement or denial.
While working, I worked hard to hone my communication as well as organizational skills through exposing myself to different activities such as facilitation and being able to handle other facets of HR field. I'm tasked with planning employee engagement activities as well as making sure that company policies are being in placed. I successfully planned a Halloween activity for our employees with the help of my colleagues leading to a fun work experience.
As an HR professional, we consider the employees as our customers. We made sure that we entertain their concerns and provide accurate information and guidance to resolve issues. As a business partner, company policies should stay in place while maintaining balance between the needs of the company and the employees.
Apart from that, I'm also assigned with doing administrative tasks such as data entry using Microsoft applications and facilitating with employee activities making sure they stay informed.
