Duties:
●Lead a team of engineers to review designs prepared by various architecture and engineering firms for various projects and successfully manage and coordinate large projects.
●Manage the complete project life cycle by implementing an effective Project Control System.
●Provide document support to resolve disputes and defend against claims.
●Develop TORs and manage project design through all stages, administer construction and bidding process and look after material procurement.
●Review and resolve issues related to tender documents, technical specifications, drawings and data sheets.

Role and Responsibilities
● Ensured execution of all contracts meet quality and other parameters and smooth progress by effective coordination with all stakeholders.
Achievements
● Improved project management and control by implementing Total Project Control (TPC) and developing programs on MS Access to maintain logs of projects, purchase requisitions and work orders facilitating reduction of overheads and optimizing margins.
● Completed the project for construction and renovation of schools for Ministry of Education, Ahmadi Governorate (contract value KD 4 million) in 13 months against a schedule of 36 months and achieving margins of over 50%.
● Managed two projects of KD 2 million each for construction and renovation of colleges and institutes of Public Authority of Applied Education
Role and Responsibilities
● Provide management and technical support for project development and implementation, contracts and procurement ensuring regulatory compliance and acting as a single point of contact for all project managers.

● Set up the company’s offices, control rooms, computer networks and website to facilitate smooth operations and execution of projects in a record time of 6 months.
● Implemented revolutionary concepts to enable on time launch of services with minimum resources.
● Created the HR and administration department and obtained all regulatory approvals and licences.
Role and Responsibilities
● Led a team of 300 in the Construction and Maintenance division, looking after project management and construction management involving building improvement, new construction and demolitions covering works like class rooms, labs, workshops, kitchens, restaurants, offices, libraries, dormitories, athletic facilities, theatres, stores, mosques, boundary walls, utilities, infrastructure and landscaping for 20 colleges of the authority.

● Provided the full range of project management support including designing, planning, preparation of specifications, construction schedules, contract documents, inspection of works and close out for projects covering new construction, renovation and alterations with an annual budget of USD 18, 000, 000.
