Product developments director for
Edible oils & fats, Sugar, pasta and new products categories in Savola group .
1-Lead the products innovation team to develop the new products
in these categories for all Savola brands in middle east and
Turkey for BTB and BTC.
2- Supplying the technical support to all Savola business units in middle east and Turkey for oils& fats, sugar and pasta products, processes, technologies related issues .
3- Updating the board with all new innovated products formulations trends, specifications and developing a bench mark leading products for these categories in these markets.
4- Updating Savola group with all new technologies, formulations and processing techniques in oils & fats, sugar, sweeteners and pasta
5- Working with all manufacturing sites in different business units to establish new technologies and new products manufacturing techniques for edible oils and fats, sugar and pasta industries .
6-Reviewing and updating the Products developments -R&D strategies & plans periodically with executive management as well as in periodical business review meetings .
7- Participating in the international scientific, technical conferences and fairs all over the world.
8-Representing Savola Innovation in the international scientific, technical conferences and fairs all over the world.
1-Managing all Product Development activities in areas of Industry
sales, Bakery and consumer products.
2-Managing the Quality assurance department and accrediated central laboratory .
3- Managing the NPDs in all phases .
4-Lead cross-functional teams in the technical aspects of product development through the investigation, planning, execution, evaluating and reporting on new product / process development improvement and troubleshooting projects.
• 5- Independently initiate, investigate, and implement significant new formulations, process improvements, and cost savings projects.
• 6- Assist operation team on portions of project to ensure completion of the department's high priority projects and critical non-project work. Advises, directs, coaches, inspires and reviews the work of less experienced food technologists on complex projects.
• 7- Act as a technical consultant to all operating units of the company on formulation / processing issues related to assigned projects / products.
• 8- Complete technical assessments for evaluation of new product / process opportunities.
• 9- Evaluate and makes recommendations concerning the application of new ingredient / processing technologies.
• 10- Stay apprised of technologies used by other food manufacturers by reviewing technical literature, attending seminars and maintaining
• 11- Assist in development of business goals for divisional team members - individually and collectively.
• 12- Question processes, procedures and policies. Fully investigates, develops, and presents alternatives for implementation.
• 13 Develop understanding of any processes new to the organization; evaluates whether portions of that process are applicable to other products / projects.

1 Establishing and managing the quality integrated systems ( QMS &FSMS & OHSAS & EMS & HALAL & Social accountability& RSPO ) according to the international standards ISO 9001& ISO22000& BRC -Food & OHSAS18001 & ISO14001& HALAL & Sedex & RSPO-SCCS & McDonalds SQMS & Yum standards .
2 Managing the internal audits plans for all systems implemented in place .
3 Handling and managing the second party customer audits and third party certification bodies audits and ensuring that company maintain and improve its certifications records .
4 Handling the Non conformities raised from product / processes / internal audits / external audits and identifying its root causes and corrective actions and ensuring its implementation in place with the concerned departments / operation heads .
5 Managing the vendor audits and suppliers approvals according to IFFCO supplier quality management system.
6 Managing the central accredited laboratory of IFFCO and ensuring the implementation of accreditation requirements against ISO17025 standard for laboratories .
7 Handling the customer complaints and customer satisfaction protocols, identifying the root causes of it and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions within concerned department and coordinating with slaes / managing Dep.
8 Acting as MR (management representative).
9 HACCP team leader and handling crisis management mock scenarios and representing a crisis team members .
10- Develop and continuously review standards for finished, raw materials, process standards, inspection and laboratory standards.
1-Managing the NPD team who is resposnible for developing new products and improving the specs of existing brands to meet
customer expectations and solve his application problems
2-Conducting lab and production trials, experiments, in all stages of process and new product developed or current product improvement in co-ordination with production to establish the new products and conduct the application trails of NP samples at the customer end .
3- Establishing all control measures in production stream .
4-Establish quality plans to verify NP specs in process, at the release stage and during production on lines .
5-Conducting the shelf life studies and retained samples stability tests during the shelf life .
6-Participating in the new machinery commissioning and doing its
Efficiency calculations with the technical team .
7-Conduct product failure investigations and handling customer complaints/ satisfaction procedures/ protocoles.
8-Technically review deviations for rejected incoming materials and components.
9- Improve existing product and process.
10- Handling all the legal affairs with Coordinating with the legal authorities .
1- Monitoring and supervising the implementation of QA inspection and testing plan inside the QA central lab and outside within Dep.
2- Daily reviewing and signing the log sheets and QA reports, reporting a summary report to the QA manager and taking the proper corrective action for any deviations .
3- Controlling the lab chemicals stocks, raising the purchase requisites for the shorted chemicals, follow up the purchasing Dep. to facilitate the laboratories activities and working on the availability of the supplies in cooperation with the QA manager .
4- handling the annual internal training of new lab stuff and refreshment training for the lab stuff for the Testing & analysis procedures .
5- Follow up the corrective actions implementation of the complaints related to QA lab up till its closing .
6- Handling the Inter-laboratories comparisons between the lab stuff and evaluating the competency of lab peoples to perform the analysis according to the SOPs and reporting the competency results to the QA manager
7- Managing the calibration plans and maintenance schedules for the laboratories' equipment and instruments.
8- Procurement, operation and maintenance of laboratory inspection and analysis equipment/instruments providing timely and accurately service .
9- Monitor the implementation of QA dep KRAs and cascading to the lab stuff and reporting to QA manager the measured acheivemnts on monthly basis .
Sampling and chemical analysis of incoming raw materials used in all types of synthetic, liquid detergents .
2-Sampling and chemical analysis of sulphonation, sodium silicate plants in process and Sabiz spray drying tower plant ( powder detergents), liquid detergent manufacturing plant, intermediate products as LAS, LES, NaLAS, Sodium silicate and of dispatchable FG and confirming its specs compliance before loading and Issuing the COAs for dispatcahble goods .
4- To prepare lab trial blends for products .
5-Internal communications of analysis results of analysis with other departments for product releases .
6-Inspection of product storage tanks, finished goods warehouse.
7- Doing the Instrument internal calibration.
8-Check & ensure Implementation of quality system & product quality during the shift, Standardize the solutions required for analysis.
9-Doing the instrumental analysis as GLC, AA, Spectrophotometric measurements analysis.
Ph.D in chemistry .in catalysis branch
Master degree in chemistry in inorganic chemistry branch .
Bachelor of science - chemistry dep. studied inorganic , organic , physical , chemistry ,instrumental analysis using spectroscopic techniques , analytical chemistry ,applied chemistry , Food chemistry ,chemotherapy , terpenoids ,alcaloids , detergent chemistry .
