I am working as an administrator where I create new user account for the new employees, manage user accounts details, delete user if anyone is leaving the company or lock the users during their vacations, manage existing users account by giving each employee the options he is allowed to use depends on his work needs, reset end user password if any one forgot his password, view user dashboard on what request he has been doing. Also responsible for any software installation, updates, log in problems for end users.
I am also responsible for handling customer’s accounts where I manage between the company and the customers as well as handle any new orders, accounts or issues that might be relative to that client. I do quarterly sales results, annual forecasts and account status reports and once I created I present it to the manager and sales managers. I have the permeation for any new purchase order wither we can sale this client or not and how much he own us base of his payment term and credit limits deal, update the customer’s accounts for discount payment terms.

I was charge for doing the lab setup configuration based on Oracle University requirements.
Keeping the lab updated with the latest Oracle software and other software such as antivirus,
terminal emulators, courseware, etc..

Also I worked with a migration team to migrate and upgrade Oracle 8i Database and Oracle
Forms and Reports applications. Oracle 8i Database was running on Compaq Server and the
Database applications (Forms and Reports) are windows based applications (Client Sever
applications).

Our objectives are to migrate Oracle 8i non-clustered database to Oracle Database 11g Cluster database (RAC) on HP Servers, and to migrate Oracle Forms/Reports applications from Windows-based applications to Web-enabled applications.

Due to the different Database character set used on Oracle 8i and Oracle Database 11g, the data migration was done using Oracle Database 11g data pump import utilities (expdp and impdp). The Web-based applications were migrated and deployed to Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2, providing the platform to migrate the applications minimum changes.

Jubail Industrial Collage was able to utilize the new environment for better high-availability using
Oracle Real-Application Cluster and Oracle Application Server 10g.

Developed a prototype for Heterogeneous Distributed Database Applications. The architectural
infrastructure built using two different networked platforms.

One Server running Oracle Database 9i on Microsoft Windows and second one running Oracle
Database 9i for Linux RedHat.

The designed physical Database was created in both databases with referential integrity enforced using Table-Level Database triggers to provide database consistency for Data Manipulation Language (DML).

The SQL uses a Database link to extend the application so that the database fetches concurrently from both Database. Database Synonyms were created to provide database transparency, ease of development and security.

Ultimately the project has different applications, with major advantage to computing environment
where they need to build data warehouse from different data mart running foreign operating
systems.
