Design of Electrical Control Circuit (design of power and control circuit for strip transport motor, in and out trimmer motor, 24vdc supply circuit for trimmer clutch, circuit trimmer clutch blowers e.t.c)
Supervise the arrangement resistance boxes for speed control of 1120Kw Mill motors.
Working with various field devices (proximity sensors, limit switches, flow sensor, float sensor, flow meter, pressure switches, level sensors, RTD’s, Thermocouples, temperature controllers, solenoid valves e.t.c).
Hardware Wiring of PLC(wiring of additional digital input and output modules, analogue input module, repeater module, counter module and so on in the Furnace mcc, Balance utility mcc and Exit mcc panel at hot rolling mill, ota.).
Programming and commissioning of Simatic S7 (STEP2, STEP3, and STEP4), Simatic Wincc- HMI and RS Logix appreciation.
Logic design for slab positioning device, slab centering device and feeder logic for pinion stand motor 2, sump motor 2, bearing emulsion motor2 e.t.c.
Plan preventive and Corrective Maintenance for Machines in the Plant,
Organize Manpower to carry out the Planned Maintenance,
Supervise daily running of Electrical Equipment and Sub-Station,
Liaise with Local Contractor to get spare parts for Machine Equipment, Any other Job/Task as may be assigned from time to time.
Distinction in Higher National Diploma (Electrical/Electronics Engineering).
