Promote and maintain a safe working environment in Schneider Electric sites and in customer site during operations. The objective is to make workplaces safe, instilling safety awareness in our employees and ensure company compliance with UAE rules and regulations.
Review safety policies and procedures to ensure they are current and provide adequate safety for our operations and employees.
Advise all project personnel and subcontractors regarding safe working practices and to develop safety consciousness.
Ensure that every employee is informed and trained to perform their job in a productive and safe way in accordance with policies & procedures.
Track and report safety problems and report this information to management.
Help our engineer to apply safety requirement for the project sites and our offices.
Ensure safety related training requirement/certifications for all employees are meet.
Conduct new employee orientation.
Organize required training including electrical safety, fall protection, forklift use.
Perform job safety analysis and inspections; conduct safety audits on site.
Oversee site activities at the project sites to ensure all the safety measures are taken and the teams are working in a safe manner.
Enforce the use of the safety equipment (hardhats, safety shoes, eye protections, gloves, etc).
To ensure that accident investigations are conducted, when appropriate, in accordance with Company policies & procedures, under the direction of the Safety Department.
With EHS Central Senior develop safety work rules for operational teams. Provide safety training for each new comer or visitor.
Frequent meetings and works with EHS Central Senior .
To continuously provide specialist advice & education on safety matters to all project personnel.
Analyze and process corrective actions and assure effective of same.
Assist auditors and represent the Service Department during the Audit (External and Internal)
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers in the Middle East market segment, to generate new business for the Customer Service Dep. \nCall and in-person visits and presentations to existing customers. \nDevelops good contact and advice customer plus prepare clear and effective written proposals and quotations. \nExpedites the resolution of customer problems, complaints, and follow up the warranty cases. \nCoordinates Customer Service sales effort with marketing, Customer Service sales, logistics and technical service, \nCustomer Service Sales Team back office support, customer orders follow up, \nIdentify and update the current customers contact details,
Responsible for the scheduling and coordination of all Russian and Nigerian Filed Service Engineers and same role as the previous in UAE,
Responsible for the coordination and planning of all GUTOR's Middle East Field Service Engineers. \nEnsure that manpower and material is on site according customer expectation. \nEscalate technical issues and manpower jobs according the GUTOR escalation process. \nEmergency stand-by 7 days / 24 hours for customers, partners and GUTOR Service Engineers \nManaging the inventory of spare parts stock \nResponsible for materials (Load bank) scheduling \nHandling of approved expenses
• Work closely with the Training Coordinator to identify training opportunities, contact Training Venders and provide details of available courses and events for OOC employees.
• Assist in design of training plan and programs
• Ensure that the training database holds accurate information about the training programmes at all times, include setting up training records, processing training bookings; prepare the elements of analysis and statistics assessments of the training activity.
• Liaise with trainers to ensure any requirements are met including accommodation, equipment requirements, expenses, and travel booking.
• Provide administration service and support as required including photocopying and production of training materials for both the HR team and a training course programme and ensuring effective liaison with delegates and trainer.
Maintaining a listening watch on radio and telephone communications, Maintain records and filing system on:
• Receive record Ohanet Base Journey Management and ensure immediate response to all radio transmissions and all flight tracking transmissions,
• Coordination between aircrafts and the OSC and inform all Operations Support Assistant (Personnel), and Service Companies with passengers on board, ETD, ETA Airport of OOC inbound internal flight(s) research the weather conditions and inform the pilots.
• Regular updates of Ohanet Telephone and Facsimile Directory and Emergency Response Telephone Numbers.
• In the event of an emergency assist the Field Response Team as required.
