Dredging works for AZ-Zour South power Station. (3, 700, 000USD)
Client: Ministry of Electricity & Water & Renewable Energy
The projects objective is to dredge mud/sit and any foreign materials from the power plants intake channel and forebay to the specified levels, dimensions and slopes, with a total material quantity of 390, 000m3 on 1 94, 000m2.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develops project specific documentation (Method Statements, Risk Assessments, etc.) and updates as required.
2. Checking plans, drawings, and pipeline execution.
3. Daily management for the project activities and prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
4. Prepares purchase requests for required materials.
5. Gathers accurate data on the dredgers performance (such as production and utilization). When necessary, coordinate with other parties, such as the Survey Department and the Dredging Superintendent. Produces accurate, high-quality, and credible daily production reports for the dredger.
6. Knowledge of and commitment to Safety in the Workplace and Environmental responsibility
7. Attends the Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client) and assist in preparation of Minutes of Meeting and Discuss with Client technical representative for all engineering matters.
Al-Zour Refinery project (1, 470, 000, 000 USD)
Client: Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC)
The project is a joint venture with SK Engineering & Construction and Saipem Engineering &
Construction, the scope of work includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction, PreCommissioning and Assistance during Commissioning for a Solids Pier, Sulfur Pelletizing / Conveying,
Subsea Outfall Lines, an Offshore Sea Island and a Small Boat Harbor with Assistant Buildings (Like
Hospital, Administration Building, Police Station, Mosque, and Stores).
Job Responsibilities:
1. Execute the soffit formwork for the Offshore Sea Island, including installing sub-brackets, main
brackets, H-beams, and Doka beams... etc.
2. Install precast beams and slabs and prepare a lifting plan for that.
3. Responsible for reinforcement and casting work, as well as preparing inspection notifications for
quality control inspection.
4. In charge of organizing the safety toolbox meeting before starting work.
5. Liaison with the project personnel, Foremen and Inspectors to ensure efficient job preparation and
field operations
6. Coordinates materials and assists with logistics, shipping, and receiving at the construction site.
7. Coordinates with all project-related staff (onshore and offshore) on the day-to-day progress of
work activities, procurement, and operations to ensure that the project is completed on schedule,
and prepares a weekly status report for each assignment.
New Al-Sabah Hospital (635, 000, 000 USD)
Client: Ministry of Health of Kuwait (MOH)
The project is a design, construction, equipment and furniture of 5 buildings: Surgical Inpatient Tower, Medical Inpatient Tower, Administration Tower, Outpatient Clinics, Central Utility Plant, car parks and landscape area on a total plot of 32, 000-meter squares.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Setting out, leveling and surveying the site.
2. Execute the formwork, reinforcement and casting work, as well as preparing inspection notifications for quality control inspection.
3. Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors to ensure that the project is completed on schedule, and prepares a weekly status report for each assignment
4. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
5. Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Culture Center Project ( 940, 000, 000 USD )
Client: Amiri Diwan - State of Kuwait
The project is a design, development and construction of 4 buildings: theatre, music, conference, library, car parks and landscape area on a total plot of 250, 000-meter squares
Job Responsibilities:
1. Setting out, leveling and surveying the site.
2. Execute the formwork, reinforcement and casting work, as well as preparing inspection notifications for quality control inspection.
3. Execute the Water supply, drainage network as well as pavement roads.
4. Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors to ensure that the project is completed on schedule, and prepares a weekly status report for each assignment
5. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
6. Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Job Responsibilities:
1 .Leveraged estimating tools and quotes from vendors to develop cost estimates and lead times for proposals. 2.Conducted research to obtain data on labor costs, materials and production times.
3.Attended customer and vendor meetings to answer technical questions and complete required deliverables. 4.Send Requests for Information (RFI) for any conflicts.
5.Prepare quantities take off sheets for all items in B.O.Q.
6.Prepare Payment Certificate for owner and sub-contractors.
7.Negotiating best prices from suppliers (dragged in the Vendor List) & sub-contractors for all the items during bid stage.
8. Participate in preparing Claims.
