Under my capacity as Expeditor, I was responsible to maintain and develop the monitoring and control process over Contractor(s) supply chain in accordance with the Contract Agreement starting by the Material Tracking system (MTS) development and follow up process in support to Post-award Contract administration, this includes
• Monitor contractor’s deliverables according to contract delivery dates.
• Review Monthly MTS provided by contractors and ensure that milestone is supporting the Project overall schedule.
• Maintain performance metrics by ensuring vendor on time delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Release monthly Expediting report including PGESCo concern regarding contractor's received MTS and the way forward to solve contractor's critical delays.
• Prepare delay notices and other notices as required.
• Supporting the invoicing review and processing.
Abu Qir Power Plant/Giza North Power
• Managing suppliers’ correspondences, invoices, change orders, preparing Contracts amendments, general monitoring of Contractor's schedule to ensure compliance with the project's schedule.
• Preparing internal reporting Logs and summary report.
• Responsible to arrange, conduct and issue the minutes of meeting with the Suppliers as needed during the project term to close and resolve any pending issues.
Damietta West Simple Cycle Power Project
ELMACO Badr Transformers Factory
Alexandria Project and Sidi Krir Substation
• Supported the schedule development, maintenance and monitoring activities as directed.
• Supported the bidders(s) schedule evaluation during the bidding phase.
• Issue periodic updates to milestone schedule and draft revised overall schedule
• Resource(s) loading to the Project schedule for quantity and manpower to support forecasting and progress trend monitoring
• Prepared the project monthly progress report.
• Prepare the monthly executive review meetings presentations.
• Reviewed the contractor monthly schedule and issue comments as applicable.
• Supported the Project Completion report preparation
Functional support
• Support the management presentations and reports.
• Supported the existing projects (Nubaria & Tebbin).
• Supported the Cost control raw material development by developing the data entry attributes, collecting info and supported the data entry process for critical packages
• Interface with the IS&T department for the development of the inhouse Cost control program
Cairo North Power Plant Project
Supervise and inspect day-to-day works of the main Civil Works contractor, ensure safety and quality of the works is met
• Review work specifications and method statements.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure contractor delivery against targets.
• Quality control and assurance for finishing architectural works as Power block (Electrical and control building) and warehouse.
El Kureimat / Talkha / El Nubaria/ Cairo North. Power Plants
• Participated in the preparation of the specification required for tender documents.
• Responsible for Cairo North Power Station - Phase II extension drawings related to the Warehouse plans, elevations, and material take off schedules (i.e. doors/ window/ finishing material).
• Participated in the preparation of the typical details’ drawings for Masonry, Aluminum windows, doors, wooden doors.
• Participated in the preparation of the specification of windows and doors to comply with ASTM standards.
