Preparation and Implementation of Quality Control procedures and ITP'S

Establishing of QC, NDT and Inspection Procedures, and documentation of inspection records.

Prepare/Review WPS/PQR and welding processes like SMAW, SAW, and GTAW.

Liaison with third party and Coordination with site Engineer / Contractors for site Technical issues.

Interpretation of NDE activities.

Ability to interpret various international codes related to inspection.

Conducting Welder Qualification test and Maintaining Welder performance and welders repair percentage.

Punch point preparation and liquidation as a part of Handover / Takeover activity of critical equipment like column, vessels, tanks, etc.
Good skills communication.

Duties and Responsibilities


•Prepare/ review required WPS based on material specs and thickness ranges in several projects.
•Witness destructive testing and welding procedure qualification tests.
•Resources management.
•Vendor/ subcontractors assessment.
•Review MRBs for static, rotating equipment’s and mechanical valves.
•Managing Documentation control and traceability.
•Establish quality document system and preparation for internal audits and vendor/subcontractor audit.
•Preparing/review ITPs and procedures for mechanical activates (Piping, static and rotating equipment)
•Directing inspectors and following their activities in site and document.
•Preparing KPIs
•Execute work in accordance with applicable Project Procedures and Standards.
•Reviewing& modifying all QC DUCOMENTS to save good record and maintain good required quality.
•Excellent knowledge in almost welding process.
•Reviewing punch list for piping and equipment.
