-Ensure that operations control activities and standards are implemented in various COU & Branches processes and that all departments / sections comply with / adhere to P&Ps and work instructions.
-Follow up the audit findings to be resolved by the assigned owner as per the corrective action plan agreed upon and to avoid future recurrence.
-Supervise & organize control schedule for the staff to perform their periodic control activities / reviews.
-Identify and escalate any risky issues / notes regarding any process / system / report to his direct manager and suggest the proper control solutions accordingly.
-Assist in recommending appropriate action to be taken for resolving recurring problems and avoiding any potential operational losses.
-Supervise implementation for OPS control projects / system enhancements; ensure raised issues are followed upon for resolution.
-Ensure that the periodical review for OPS staff profiles & matrices in Egypt is properly handled by all the related sections in OPS.
-Create awareness among the staff related to Risks & Control aspects through periodical meetings, day to day discussion sessions.etc. .
- Reviewing periodic operations control reports and following up with concerned parties to resolve outstanding issues as per P&P.
- Conducting spot check/audit across departments/branches ensuring adherence to P&P, control policies and standards;
- Maintaining the register for all operations related internal audit follow ups and ensuring that all are resolved properly in coordination with concerned parties;
- Ensuring proofing process of accounts reconciliations required by concerned Operations departments;
- Reviewing all new P&P from a control perspective before circulation and implementation phases, to ensure a proper controls and segregation of duties is in place &conformity with other P&P in place;
- Investigating customer`s complaints from a financial perspective, raising the results to the concerned parties to take the required corrective measures; and
- Compliance performance in line with AB code of conducts as well as AB P&P and local laws and regulations.
- Conducting unscheduled inventory and compliance visits to ensure strict compliance with the bank’s rules;
- Conducting periodic review of the general security aspects and compliance.
- Accountable for providing accurate, quick & high quality service to meet and exceed customers’ expectations;
- Managing the expectations of all customers spectrum wide; and
- Responsible for executing all counter transactions (remittance - cheques collection - cash and cross selling other products) in an efficient manner.
