Proactive productive supportive Electrical project management Engineer (owner representative) in the largest gas Production Company in Egypt (RASHPETCO -produces 40% of Egyptian gas production-) which was a Joint Venture to Shell-group.
I have a depth knowledge in electrical project management (9 years’ Experience), in Greenfield, Brownfield projects, at last five years I was the PM for 16th Brownfield projects with Budget over 9.5 Million $ with actual cost about 7 Million $ and total cost saving about 2.5 million $, in oil and gas(Onshore/Offshore), power generation, MV/LV switchgear and power transformer systems without any power interruption to keep the oil and gas production without shutdown, managing projects(owner representative) with multinational Electrical companies ( GE, Siemens, Schneider, ABB, MANTRAC, EMERSON )vendors, (Bechtel, ENPPI) Engineering and Petroject construction
Major projects in onshore Brown field
1. Project management for shutdown activities : based on the critical production issues Rashpetco didn’t implement the yearly maintenance shutdown for 7 years, So the six days shutdown in 2017 was the largest in the Company history, The Electric Brown field projects was represented 24% from the total shutdown activities and one of the three shutdown main core from the ministry in only six days working with all Electric vendors ABB, Schneider, MANTRAC, EMERSON UPS and Petroject at the same time under massive pressure and success in all the Brown field Electric projects safely without any near mess or injuries and that allow me to be congratulated for the Rashpetco award ( shutdown man )
2. Automatic Black start up PM :The proportion of RASHPETCO production of gas represents 35% of total gas production in Egypt, Because of mechanical lock out time issue, if we lose power for only 10 min that cause national grid suffer from losing gas production for four hours
This project recovers this critical issue using Automation (PLC and SCADA) to recover the Electric power to the onshore production plant un-manned Automatically within Seconds for all critical loads in all MV/LV switchgears).
3. Power Optimization PM :: Connecting between two different Existing operating power generation systems, First system (3 GTGs SIEMENS ), Second system (3GTGs ALSTOM GE ), and that through special transformers 5MVA 11/3.3KV DYN11 type Schneider AREVA Substation , without any power interruption or losing power in the downstream switchgears, safely ( good risk assessment with mitigations ) without any effect on the existing control philosophy (Radial power system with momentary paralleling and ATS ), BG Egypt Participated with this project in BG worldwide competition
4. Oil & Gas plant (Rosetta) Hand over to BP Company PM: Major Electric changes to safely Electric isolation for an onshore plant from the overall Electric network on the Company to be handed over to the new JV (BP company), in a very limited time.
5. Emergency power securing PM: Rearrangement of Existing MANTRAC Diesel generators and All Emergency Switchgears from different sources to secure oil & gas production in the on shore plant in all Emergency cases, for easy return of power to the GTGs and gas compressors, and that done on the existing system without any risk of shutdown or any power interruption.
