as Radiation Protection Supervisor which include the following key experience:
1- advises HSE manager and environment section head on all radiation issues
2- make radiation measurement and surveys of location in oil fields
3-manage a temporary NORM waste storage facility
4- give worker and operators necessary caution and procedures and suitable PPE to deal with contaminated equipment
5- arrange storage norm yard for temporary store of contaminated equipment and radioactive material
6-monitor active radiation sources in different areas
7-protects worker and public against gamma and x-ray exposure and contamination of (alpha and beta radiation)
8- Training operators in oil filed dealing with NORM contaminated material
9-Traning safety staff to detect and segregate Radioactive contaminated material
10- supervision of transportation of radioactive equipment in oil fields
WORKING IN OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY ENVIRONMENT AS A PLANT MANAGER OF A NORM DECONTAMINATION FACILITY WHICH INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING KEY EXPERIENCE: 1-SUPERVISION OF NORM RADIATION PROTECTION AND NORM DECONTAMINATION OPERATIONS WITH IN NORM FACILITIES (including receipt -dispatch of NORM contaminated materials, dismantling -HP water jetting -gas burning-NORM monitoring -tube plant operations ………..& all relevant documentation) 2-IMPLEMENTATION OF MAINTENANCE PLAN OF ALL PLANT SYSTEMS & EQUIPMENT (including high pressure water jetting systems -hydraulic tube machine-HVAC -extract - filtration unit -air operated pumps -cooling systems……..) & PREPARING RELEVANT SPARE PARTS LISTS 3-SUPERVISION OF ALL ROUTINE AND BREAK DOWN MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES 4-PREPERATION OF PRODUCTION REPORTS (daily-weekly-monthly)+TECHNICAL, RADIOLOGICAL, SAFETY REPORTS. 5- SCHEDULING ,PLANNING & SUPERVISION OF PLANT SHUT DOWNS FOR MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES INCLUDING DESLUDGING OF THE SETTLING TANKS, TUBE PLANT BOOTH AND WATER JETTING DRAINAGE CONTAINING NORM SLUDGE AND ARRANGEMENT OF RESULTANT WASTE DRUMS. 6-MANAGEMENT OF ALL PRIMARY & SECONDARY WASTE RESULTANT OF THE OPERATION OF A NORM DECONTAMINATION FACILITY . 7- RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF NORM PLANT PROCEDURES AND LOCAL RULES (Including classifications of areas according to radiation and contamination levels, barrier procedure , use of PPE & RPE ,non classified workers entry…………) 8-RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAILY DISTRIBUTION OF NDF STAFF TASKS AND SUPERVISION OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DAILY WORK PLAN WITH ACCORDANCE TO MAIN COMPANY REQUIREMENTS & PRIORITIES 9-ADMINISTRATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS IN MANAGEMENT OF A NORM CONTRACT INCLUDING WORK, TIMESHEETS ,DOCUMENTATION ,CERTIFICATION AND ALL PAPER WORK IN SUCH CONTRACTS
