I work as a remote e-commerce translator at JorMall. I basically translate all website content and products details from English to Arabic and vice versa.
Writing Product Descriptions for products and at a startup e-commerce company (La Familia). Responsible for all the written data on the website, editing, translating, and SEO writing and ranking up the website.

After being moderated, the listed offers visit the compliance department before either
going live or getting rejected, to match each country’s standards complying with Amazon's
guidelines and policies for that country. They are then transferred to our department with a
bunch of offers that are categorized and listed under them, our role then is to make sure
that each and every single offer isn’t breaking any of Amazon's policies along with checking
the title, price, and image of the offer, as for the images and titles we focus mainly on them
reflecting the original product and nothing else and most importantly we must make sure
that none of the offer’s attributes contain any prohibited information or other products that
might force us to reject the offer.
During my work time as an ‘offer compliance associate’ for Amazon my main tasks and
responsibilities are as the following points:
● Compile accurate content \[title, product description, and key selling features, images\] to
engage our customers.
● Edit and/or create content implementing our related guidelines.
● Provide feedback about unusual items, unavailable types or attributes.
● Research to find and/or verify the provided data.
● Quality-first attitude advocating standards and administration of content audit process.
● Hitting goals and targets on a daily bases.
● Follow product extraction standards during production as set by the team lead.
● Proactively moderate all types of site generated content in Arabic & English.
● Ability to work in different shifts and/or rotation, set according to business needs.
● Liaise with and provide support to internal & external customers through the content
support team.
● Provisioned over 250k offers during my work time at Amazon with a quality average of
90%.
