2. draws up the specifications for the purchase of spare parts
3. ensures the availability of the spare parts
4. prepares, with the assistance of production people, weekly mechanical and electrical maintenance programs, annual shutdowns and inspection and oiling programs
5. looks for the best optimization of programs according to availability of the workforce so as to control costs
6. monitors the equipment daily and uses the data collected
7. analyses the performance indicators and the incidents, looks for solutions
8. manages the technical documentation (both general and specific)
9. manages the equipment codification
10. ensures that the maintenance practices comply with QA standards
