I worked in Conoco gas plant (DEZ Gas Plant) as Mechanical Engineer in Gas turbine (Nouvo Pignone brand) team responsible for:

• On start-up perform equipment checks to ensure safe and reliable operation of the unit

• Doing daily routine inspection for drain, noise, any leak, monitoring the parameters ( L, T, P, DP of air, oil and gas) while the turbine running, Housekeeping and cleaning

• troubleshooting, testing and correcting mechanical system problems
• Ensure day-to-day work is performed effectively, efficiently, and safely in order to, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.

• Inspect turbine inlet air filter house and pulsejet cleaning system
• Add oil to operating level
• Take oil sample from Oil tank to analyses, check the validity of oil(MOBILE DTE LIGHT ISO VG32)

• Change over to stand by filter bank and Replace with new element according to DP across filter (hydraulic oil, Main lube oil, Buffer air, fuel gas filter)

• Take & Upload vibration data from Microlog to the PC
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on the Gas turbines and associated equipments, IGV actuator, NCE actuator …etc

• Carry out isolations and permit to work (PTW) and lock-out tag-out (LOTO)
• Carriy out 6M PM for gas & oil cooler fan. Checke alignment and belt tension. Grease the fan shaft bearings and checke all fasteners, Laser alignment, bearing change. Installe belt if needed, adjuste and test run fan . Applied belt dressing to rectify noise

• applying monthly inspection, combustion chamber inspection.
• Applying hot gas path inspection according to running hours.
• Carry out Bore scope Inspection of Transition Piece, HP Turbine 1st and 2nd stage Buckets and Nozzles
• Applying water washing according to condition of axial air compressor.

• Participate in major overhauls such as Major Shutdown Maintenance including work on turbines and compressors(Calibrating, Retesting and commissing), check all the clearances(thrust float, running position) Replacing and servicing bearings (thrust, and journal), fuel nozzle, liner, and transition piece, Alignment Axial Compressor to Accessory gear box, Alignment LP turbine shaft to load gear box.

• Carry out NDT checks for stage nozzle vane, buckets and liner to Observe any cracks
• I have a good experience in aligning using laser alignment and dial indicators

I Was in Military Service obligation responsible for shooting field, through this period I had a good knowledge in electrical control
experience, knowledge, and familiarity with the maintenance and operations of UPS, DC, and battery systems

• I worked in a JBISSA GAS PLANT. My job was as a supervisor in control room which controls and monitors the status of the gas systems. I have a good experience in controlling, Compressors, Turbines, Pumps and gas systems

• Worked under the direction of Maintenance Manager to plan & supervise all preventive and corrective maintenance, monthly /annual outage and overhauling work activities on plant mechanical equipment

• I worked through the manufactory maintenance procedures which in this period the whole systems would shut down for disassemblies procedures for cleaning, adjustments and maintenance which put the whole in its original specifications.

• I worked as a supervisor of Maintenance group.) Maintenance Engineer of all stationary equipments , heat exchangers, heaters, wet surface air coolers (WSAC), air coolers, water coolers, condensers, separators, vessels, storage tanks, RO-REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM and valves / Gate, Plug, Ball, Butterfly, check valve, control valve ..etc / , Check and calibrate pressure safety valves for many companies (pilot and valves ) repair if required ) .

• Ability to review and understand multi-discipline (mechanical, electrical, control systems, etc.) drawings and documents

• Excellent understanding of treatment of gas systems; boiler, turbine, pump, valve, functions and interrelationships

• Excellent understanding of gas plant instrumentation and control functions and interrelationships with all plant processes

Strong Ability to read P&ID Drawings
