Short Term Observer- Lebanon Election with International Organization for Migration (IOM) - European Union Mission To Lebanon.

· Facilitate the interface and the establishment of contacts between observers and local authorities and civil society
· Assist in Making contracts and setting up meetings for EU team.
· Provide interpretation as required, from Arabic/ local languages to English and vice-versa.
• Ensure the mainstreaming of gender equality and social inclusion policy (GESI) throughout the project design and implementation.
• Liaise with local partners and beneficiaries to conduct Community Profiles.
• Monitor program activities in the field and reports back to the regional program manager on progress and developments.
• Ensure program operation in the targeted location is operationalized strategically as planned.
• Work closely with the protection advisor and safe space officers in Jeb Janine and Baalbek centers to identify women at risk of GBV that requires further assistant and act upon that.
• Track the progress of the program and intervene when necessary to ensure speed and quality
• Monitor budget utilization and ensure timely intervention when required.
• Follow up on the partner’s implementation of the protection activities (psychologist / GBV caseworker, safe space officers and the safe space assistant volunteers) and work closely with them to ensure the quality of the work required.
• Support and guide youth in the implementation of their initiatives.
• Individual and group coaching to empower youth about social cohesion/protection, human rights based approach (HRBA), etc.
• Support youth in identifying their capacity building/training needs.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to integrate HRBA in their work.
• Provide capacity building to Lebanon Staff and partners about protection.
• Lebanon focal point for PSEA
• Conduct the Women led community based protection (WLCBP) pilot project in Lebanon and Jordan with Action Aid UK.
• Participate in Donors and AAAR federation meetings
• Conduct Protection Vulnerability Community Assessment in Lebanon
• Set up a contingency plan to respond to COVID 19 and to implement the project activities during pandemic
• Designed Lebanon's Cash Assistance SOP and lead cash for protection program.
• Supervising all the ongoing activities running in Baalbek safe space center / applying all the SOPs.
