Responsibilities and duties:
* Prepare P&L projection, analysis of financial viability and budget follow-up of new projects.

* On monthly basis, arrange and control actual and planned P&L of each project.

* Measure, plan and forecast project activities and effects on balance sheet and income statement.

* Participate in the development of the financial strategic plan, and report the quarterly plan updates.

* Prepare spreadsheets, flow charts and graphs that illustrate the business situation.

* Responsible for the Projects & Services KPIs (part of the BSC of the company); and follow up financial and management indicators of the company.

* Run a variance analysis to maintain financial standards as budgeted and process revisions.

* Review actual v/s budget performances and prepare reports explaining budgets deviations. Challenge Tendering Engineers to propose revisions and improvements.

* As a member of the Internal Audit Committee, ensure compliance with all Group Policies & Procedures and implement and ensure proper execution and evolution of Projects & Services processes for quality and control aspects (ISO 9001 and internal control requirements).

* Ensure orders follow up for projects from receipt till execution in coordination with logistics and Finance Departments.

* Manage the evolution and implementation of all features of the ERP (SAP) within the department.

* Certify documentary credits & guarantees.

* Monitor Tenders and Contracts execution: identify and minimize contractual risk on each offer and order at commercial, administrative, legal & financial levels.

* Manage the Business Control: Project Costing, Cost Control, Margin Variance, Margin evolution, P&L.

* Reporting of Projects & Services Department (Order Intake, Invoicing, Sales by Customer, Sales by Activity, Backlog, Forecasted Sales, Margin …)

* At the time of bidding; participated in preparing the business plan of a new project with Basra Governorate (30 Million Euros), studied the cash flow and P&L.
