• Report timescales & progress to the manager related to design finalization.
• Discuss price quotations for designs using standard pricing
schemes and including options for using different materials with projects department.
• Manage a team of designers & draftsman for the technical details and guide them on all design matters.
• Preparing the scope of work and timeline for team and drawings and conceptual details.
• Nominate suppliers and contractors according to the design and materials selected by the client.
• Provide a monthly report to the General Manager for the projects assigned
and design issues and changes.
• Review drawing packages before submitting to municipality.
• Follow up preparing of working construction shop drawings and coordinate with the structural - MEP drawings.
• Review the shop drawings and the details before delivering it to the contractors.
• Visit site and comply the executions with the latest drawings.

Responsible for design and prepare final engineering drawings and supporting documents and developing system layouts to support Retail Project/Site Development
Key Responsibilities :
1-Engineering Drawings & Design
Prepare product design and documentation using computer aided design, Autocad, 3D Max, Photoshop
Prepare Final engineering sketches, specifications and supporting documents for retails stores
Reviewing the following layouts, including components and parts:
Fitting Layout
Electrical Layout
Power Socket Layout
Flooring Layout
Develop dimension partition
Ceiling Layout
Lighting Layout
Design multiple views of the system, components, and parts depict relationship of components and parts
Perform drafting revisions and modifications on drawings such as general arrangements, writing digrams

2-New Fitting Design & Specification
To actively participate in the design development process for stores, as conceptualized and explained by the project manager
To produce 3d renderings & presentations for various products and walk through
To constantly review and propose new shop fitting solutions for improving visual appeal/reducing cost




3- Coordination
Co-ordinate within the project team, visual merchandisers team, marketing team as well as with vendors
Evaluate and monitor on site progress on all going projects and present a visit report to the project manager

4-Miscellaneous
Prepare production drawings and bills of materials using MS Office, AutoCAD, 3D Max, Photoshop and maintain a record of the same
Perform design checks on preliminary design packages of bidding documents
Enter and maintain information within the database
Help and identify initiatives to improve the CAD processes and level of service delivered to customers (internal and external) e.g. Operative processes, Paper processes etc
