To support the delivery of quality community based HIV Testing Services through the Health Extension Program by Implementing key activities related to HIV counseling and testing at community level including hard to reach communities.
Collaborate with Ministry of Health and Social Services district and regional structures to strengthen HEP program implementation and supervision in 7 priority regions
Train and mentor Health Extension Workers to provide a comprehensive and accessible package of health services.
Traveling to the field work areas and conduc field-based activities.

Supervise all staff and monitor day-to-day activities during fieldwork
Collaborate with community mobilizers to implement and monitor mobilization activities and participant recruitment
Monitor the enrollment progress of field teams
Plan the team’s movement from one enumeration to another in collaboration with satellite lab teams Oversee the quality of interview data collection Supervise the informed consent process and ensure strict compliance with research ethics guidelines and study protocols
Oversee the quality of biological specimen collection, storage and shipping according to standard guidelines
Manage cash and incentive supplies, distribution and accounting records
Conduct weekly meetings with field teams to identify any concerns with the study procedures and solve as necessary
Develop weekly field reports for the Project Officer Coordinate communication between the field teams, the PHIA Project Officer collaborating organizations and service providers

Provide HIV Clinical Care and ART to eligible patients in the infectious disease Care Clinics, as well as TB, medical, Pediatric, according to Ministry of Health Guidelines
Providing nursing care and support services to in-patients and out-patients presenting for HIV treatment, care and support services
Participate in HIV Testing services (HTS)
Evaluate Pre-ART patients for eligibility and initiate those eligible for ART as per National guidelines Maintain medical records and files in thorough and accurate professional manner
Provide follow up care for treatment outcome Provide pap smear, STI screening, disclosure and adherence counselling Services Screen patients for opportunistic infection and other co-morbidness (TB, Meningitis etc.)
Screen patients for alcohol and nutrition and refer Provide PEP for those eligible
Request appropriate laboratory and clinical investigations, interpret results and provide appropriate medical care
Refer patients in an appropriate manner to medical officers, counselors, social workers or other care and support services in the health system or community Provide patients education on HIV/AIDS, including nutrition, prevention and prompt treatment of opportunistic diseases, adherence to ART and prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV in collaboration with other staffs in the clinic
Evaluate patients for opportunistic diseases, medicine side effects and adherence if on ART as well as eligibility for initiating ART when it has not yet been started for each of their follow up visit
Support NIMART, OIs and ART training including participation through platform such as Project ECHO and Digital Video Conferencing (DVC) Support integration of services such as TB/HIV, PMTCT etc.

Performing male circumcision procedures under local anesthesia
Perform general medical examination to the clients and book for male circumcision
Giving health education on HIV, STIs, Reproductive health and male circumcision for HIV prevention Manage the equipment and materials for the project Check and keep the emergency trolley up to date and in working order
Doing outreach for male circumcision in the community with community mobilization Reviewing patient came for follow up, offering medication and referral as needed Preparing site data and report accordingly
Supervising the team at the operating site Community mobilization on male circumcision for HIV prevention in different settings such Training Centers, High institutional training, schools and Offices
Going for outreach to provide Male circumcision services in Oshana Region in Namibia

Supervise staff and day-to-day activities at the study site Implement and monitor participants’ recruitment and coupon database management
Supervise the informed consent process and ensure strict compliance with research ethics guidelines and study protocol
Oversee the quality of biological specimen collection, storage and shipping according to standard guidelines
Ensure daily recording of paper based laboratory results forms and secure then in a lockable cabinet Manage HIV test results records and HIV care, treatment and appropriate social services Responsible for data management, data back up in the field, and secure data transfer to central office Assist with data entry, cleaning and preparation for analysis
Securing all study equipment and data, on site supply materials necessary to the study process Manage cash and incentives supplies, distribution and accounting records
Hold staff debriefing meetings and coordinate communication between the study site, the project coordinator/project manager and collaborating organizations and services providers

Performing male circumcision procedures under local anesthesia Perform general medical examination to the clients and book for male circumcision
Giving health education on HIV, STIs, Reproductive Health and male circumcision
Instruct and supervise nursing students on their clinical practice in theater procedures
Organizing campaign for male circumcision as needed
Prepare a daily, weekly and monthly statistics and send to the central office
Manage the equipment and materials for the project Reviewing patient came for follow up, offering medication and referral, as needed
Organizing outreach and mobilization on Male Circumcision

Teaching subjects in Advance diploma in Midwifery program
Assist and instruct students in their clinical practice and research writing
Prepare, mark and grade the assignment, course work, tests and examination
Mark and moderate the practical examinations at other nursing school
