Help patients by welcoming them to a surgically cleaned work environment to prevent the spread of infection and disease.
Organize the operating area by setting up the required instruments and
materials necessary for dental procedures.
Obtain clear radiographic images of teeth and perform dental procedures on patients within the scope of dental assistant upon the dentist’s request.

All the information collected is recorded in the AHS provided electronic medical charting.
Client’s COVID-19 status becomes an important health record which is utilized by Alberta health Services to provide information to client as well as close contacts about their isolation/quarantine period.
To treat injured or sick people providing first aid and medical support and transportation to nearby medical facility utilizing knowledge gained during training.
Treatment of oral and facial disease and/or disorders by diagnosing appropriately through the use of appropriate diagnostic tests.
I worked in dental department of hospital, handling of general OPD of the department.
I analyzed and evaluated the dental needs of the patients to determine the treatment required by the patient, and observed changes in patterns of dental hygiene maintenance of the patient after educating them about appropriate dental hygiene practices.
I provided dental care services such as dental surgeries (removal of teeth, retained/ broken roots, cysts, etc.), endodontic (root canal) treatment, removable orthodontics (correction of irregularities in teeth), and pedodontic (treatment of deciduous dentition) treatment to name a few.
Additionally, I diagnosed and treated oral diseases, injuries and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures, and provided preventive and corrective services.
I designed and fitted prosthodontic appliances, such as space maintainers, bridges, and dentures in patients mouth as well as wrote framework of design of RPD prescriptions for Dental Technician.
Emergency Medical Responder registered with Alberta College of Paramedics.
