Sector Expert of Beautician courses by GIZ .Responsible to train staff about competency base qualification
My job duties/roles are as under
Curriculum Development
To train the staff under competency base qualification
To create awareness of NQF and QCF qualifications framework
Design and deliver trainings under Art& Design related Areas
To promote vocational qualification of Art& Design in industry
Deliver lectures
Arrange Fashion Shows, exhibitions, and art fairs
Design dresses
Meeting with stake holders
Working as a head of department for Fashion, Interior, Graphic and Textile design disciplines
My administrative responsibilities are :
• Supervising all academic faculties of Art &Design and Hair& Beauty and having regular meetings with managers of all departments for improvement in academia and teaching methods.
• Working as a liaison between STEP and its awarding bodies (including: BTEC Edexcel, , PBTE(Punjab Board of Technical education), TTB( Trade Testing Board), NAVTTC(National Vocational Technical training commission).
• In charge of planning and drafting the academic programs for the different courses offered by the Institute
• Apply the established education standards according to Industry Demand and apply them to the curriculum of the institute
• Approve the changes demanded in the present academic program as per the relevance and requirements of current competitiveness
• Managing the interface between academic, vocational, Technical, non-academic, administrative and students
• Receiving feedback from students and incorporate the changes demanded by them in the program

Recently developed one curriculum on Painting for GIZ under Tvet reform programme
Developing designs and collections for MP kids wear brand which works under STEP institute. I am
lead internal verifier for all art& design courses offered by Edexcel pearson ltd
Teaching Drawing, design, Textile design, craft, fashion illustration.colour theory and art classes
• 1995 - till date
- Working as Freelance Fashion Designer and Consultant for Resham Ghar. Developed a line (30 outfits collection) for Pakistan Fashion week
- Creating thematic designs on fabrics in different variations.
- Responsible to work in Silk Painting

Major Project include: - Designed & Supervised decor plan of Muree to celebrate Independence Day.
This course was about strengthening the TVET (Technical & Vocational education and training) policy and management . I have learnt about the stakeholder engagement , Labor market information, change management , Social inclusion , industry engagements, linkages between industry and academia, Apprenticeship systems and the importance of competency based trainings in TVET.
