Ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policy in matters relating to Safety,
Health and Environment (SHE),
Developed, implemented, facilitated and sustained utilization of employee safety
committees, company-wide behavioral based safety programs, safety leadership training,
and quarterly company safety lunch and learns where involvement and participation
continue to increase steadily,
Engage with all relevant stakeholders on matters of SHE policy and practice,
Managing crises and issuing internal protocols to deal with them, such as the Corona Covid-
19 pandemic,
Involved in the project since the project kick-off meetings, performed employee orientation
& training,
Assisted division safety coordinator or the project safety manager in helping to provide
regulatory reference and support to the project superintendent, foreman and crew members
maintaining a safe project work site,
Conduct site safety audits throughout the working day on current/ new sites job sites to
insure safety regulation compliance, as well as, the client's safety guidelines are followed,
Conducted routine documented inspections of all work sites and equipment to ensure
compliance with company safety policies, and provide on-site hazard assessments with
coordinated corrective action if necessary with the crew supervisor,
Will carry out ‘Contractor Assessments’ of Service Contractors in accordance with the
process defined within the Standard especially Fire Fighting Systems & Fire Alarm System,
Promote safety awareness through internal memoranda, newsletters, intranet, and specific
training programs,
Support the Facility & Support Services Function in the promotion and attainment of the
business and corporate SHE objectives,
Acting SHE manager on the all tasks & activities to provide a single central source of advice
on all SHE issues across BAES SDT, ensuring consistency of approach in applying the

designated standards. The role includes a high degree of monitoring trends and where
applicable identifying options to address any issues,
To ensure the integrity of the data held on SHE Intranet and SHE input of data to BAE
Systems Corporate Responsibility (CR) Desktop quarterly,
Implement and promote local, Functional and Corporate SHE initiatives,
Aggressively manage injuries, workers compensation claims, and light-duty (return to
work) cases,
Investigate work-site incidents and lost-time injuries, analyze root cause and develop
solutions to prevent reoccurrence,
Develop and deliver workplace specific training courses, or to support a particular
program or improvement such as SHE Induction Training,
Perform program evaluations to determine the effectiveness of existing programs and plan
and execute process improvements.
التفتيش على المنشآت الصناعية من ناحية مخاطر العمل ويقترح وسائل منع أو تخفيض الإصابات والأمراض الصناعية ويصمم أجهزة الأمن : يفحص مخططات ومواصفات المحال الجديدة والمصانع والمعدات للتأكد من إتباع إجراءات وقاية ملائمة لتجنب أخطار العمل، يفتش على المباني والمعدات والعمليات ليحدد أماكن العمل الخطرة، يقدم النصح ويرشد إلى اختيار النظارات وأحزمة الأمان والملابس الواقية ومراوح التجفيف وأجهزة التهوية وما شابهها من معدات الأمان، يبحث عن مخاطر الحريق ويفحص معدات الإطفاء ويرشد إلى طرق الوقاية من أخطار الحريق، يصمم ويشرف على صنع وتركيب معدات الوقاية وغيرها من الأجهزة التي تستخدم لمنع الحوادث، يحقق في أسباب الحوادث ويدخل التعديلات اللازمة لمنع تكرار حدوثها، يخطط وينظم وينفذ البرامج التوجيهية والتعليمية الخاصة، بمنع الحوادث مستخدما الملصقات والأفلام وغيرها من الوسائل، يكون مسئولا عن تدريب أطقم الطائرات على أصول السلامة والإنقاذ أثناء الطيران، يتخصص في تقديم المشورة حول تجنب تأثير الفضلات الصناعية أو التأثيرات الأخرى على البيئة ويصنف عندئذ كمهندس صحة أو حماية البيئة، يتابع تنمية كفاءة الفنيين المساعدين، يعزز أسس إجراءات السلامة والصحة المهنية ويوفر وسائل الحماية والوقاية.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Monitor, review and maintain all relevant H&S requirement at the manufacturing plant
Notify staff of potential hazards and educate staff in H&S matters
Ensure all relevant H&S equipment is supplied in the plant and on site
H&S record keeping and management
Proactive and regular construction site supervision
Traffic Management when required
Patrolling the grounds and facilities of the Plant in a manner consistent with departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Almarai Policy
Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures
Review and analyze injury and incident reports and data
Audit for complete plant HSS compliance with regard to risk, emergency and hazardous waste management
Coordinate with the HSS Safety Manager to promote HSS awareness in the premises
Carryout Risk Assessment of all Construction sites, activities and equipment’s
Inspect fire suppression systems and portable fire systems to ensure that they are in working order
Responsible to maintain Fire Fighting Emergency Response at site and inside the plant to train our

Lead and guide the work of safety inspectors and firefighter (Dammam Branch)
Analyze accident and incident reports for trends
Communication and meeting with government authorities (civil defense - Higher Commission for Industrial Security)
Prepare monthly safety reports and reporting to head of industrial security manager
