• To ensure planning, monitoring and controlling execution of all procurement activities including purchasing, expediting and traffic.
• Responsible for Sourcing, Import & Local Procurement of Equipments, Packages, Piping / Electrical / Instrumentation related Materials etc for different Projects.
• To recommend corrective actions for problems arising during execution of any of the activity related to procurement.
• To ensure that complete procurement cycle is on schedule and budget consumption is optimized.
Additional responsibility includes:
• • Support Proposal Managers for preparing EPC proposal by leading Procurement part of EPC Proposals. The major clients are in UAE (GASCO, ADCO, Takreer) & Qatar Petroleum. The worth of EPC proposals vary from USD 20 million to USD 300 million.

- Responsible for planning of raw materials to be imported for Plant.
- Responsible for maintaining Inventory Levels of raw materials at Plant.
- To ensure timely availability of materials at Plant at competitive prices.
- Responsible for Procurement of Chemicals,
Engg. Items, Lab items, consumable items
etc.
- Responsible for Import of raw materials,
Machinery and Engg. Spares.
- Responsible for planning of raw materials
and packing materials which are required
for Production to meet sales targets.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory
levels in stores.
- Responsible to ensure cost effective and
Timely availability of materials.
- Responsible for purchasing of all direct / Indirect materials, items which are required for production of Transformers, Switch
Gears, Energy meters & Electric Motors.
- Material planning of Energy meter as per Requirement of Marketing Department.
- To develop the Vendors as per quality Standard of the Company.
- Search the new Vendors and assess their Ability for the jobs which can be awarded after visiting / inspecting their premises.
- Responsible for procurement of Pumps, Fasteners, Referactory material, Insulating Material, Pipe fittings and the jobs relating to
Casting & Forging.
- Analytical analysis of different quotations from different suppliers.
- Finalize the order at a good rate and required Quality as per indent requirement.
- Follow up to expedite the order within the Delivery schedule.
- To prepare Master Plan for Production as per Requirement of Marketing department.
- Scheduling and loading of different shops.
- Progress monitoring of different Shops according to work orders released for Specific time period.
- Planning of direct and indirect materials to meet the Production targets.
- To control the Inventory levels of different Materials, items and Finished Products.
- Training in Production Planning & Control
Department as well as in Quality Control
Department.
