With this company i had gain big experience with win-sockets, communication concepts.
With newly established company, the management assign me to achieve the process of network design & installation & cabling types & the way to install cabling (raised floor), computers & servers specifications, windows clients and windows servers, finger prints, door access, conferencing tools with magic board and white board, UPS types & specifications, internet access, Shipping software, VPN boxes & switches, also IP Telephony specs to support multi company.
Also Achieving the whole setups and following with companies responsible for installations, which made able to gather the whole tools together and run it smoothly for 3 companies, this made gain knowledge in :

When joined ISTCO, the management assigned me to choose new templates and upgrades for network, internet computers and shipping software, after brief study & analysis, collecting and gathering required information, we decide to update Novel server into Win2000 with required hardware, Lotus CCMail into MS Exchange Server 2000, PCs into newly one with WINXP, the dialing to internet process into leased line, shipping software from DOS into Windows Platforms, training users to use the new resources, replacing and expanding cabling and switches, joining Aqaba network branch with Amman branch, replacing PCAnywhere to Windows Terminal Server. My achievement, newly knowledge expands my capabilities to be an IT Manager, especially with all the things had been done with APL Dubai Regional Office assurance and advises and Jordan ISTCO management
When I joined ITG, my knowledge about MS-SQL & open systems were too limited, later, my knowledge was increased by working on two big projects for Germany.
The first project was for software house management, which was attached to MS-Word & Excel to generate customized reports & documents, added to this, attaching it to MS-Outlook to send faxes.
The second project was virtual inventory also for Germany, the methodology of the first project was used in this also, but added stored procedures & select statements to speed up the retrieving of the huge data that was used in this project.
The door was opened widely this time, by moving to real MS-SQL environment programming, open systems, open general reports using MS Office.
When employed, I start learning Delphi, assembling PCs, servers, installation of windows & servers, also manage the company as i was the only employee after the management.
Follow the clients of Horizons, by repairing PCs, manage the software installed on clients PCs, and developing some apps.
I also did some marketing for the software & hardware for company.
A real world was begin, after learning C/C++, understanding modeling, heaps, stacks, 32bit & 16bit, jumping into windows programming, working in bilingual apps, then jumping to build Jamsheed accounting system with the team, and build some tools like page viewer, report viewer & bar code reader tools.
Also how to customize reports & printer drivers through coding.
This company enabled me to understand the meaning of programming for single and multi-user using
FOXPRO database language. Through the projects I was worked as one of its team, I learned how to work
within teams, SQL and database relations.
The first step in getting into computer business, I had got experience in software and hardware, which
enabled me to solve problems that I could face through my daily work.
I have a Diploma degree in computer science, I was graduated in 1989, and have Al Shamel exams certificate from Ministry of High Education in Jordan. The major languages that were used in my studies " Cobol, Fortran, Basic", added to these the other main materials like OS infrastructure & Files organizing structures.
