Assuring that all the AEC Engineering and Development (E&D) department’s Projects / Programs are delivered as expected within planned scope, cost, schedule and quality. Ensuring that the Projects / Programs are set up correctly and proceeding as expected covering the main three-stakeholder areas business, user and supplier.
Built from scratch the end-to-end Assurance section practice, covering all E&D Department operations and Projects / Programs.
Enabled millions in Cost savings by early detection and escalation of execution deviations influencing Executive decisions.
Implemented top Quality Assurance (solution validation / Testing coverage) practices to ensure high quality of complex digital products, safe-guarding company reputation on numerous occasions.
Key responsibilities included;
1. Monitors and assures that the defined scope of the program and all its projects are delivered as expected covering scope, cost, schedule and quality
2. Measuring a project's progress at any given point in time, forecasting its completion date & final cost, and analyzing variances in the schedule and budget as the project proceeds
3. Provide guidance for any occurring problems and issues
4. Partner with executive management team to assess and improve current business/organization processes
5. All responsibilities of software testing like planning, resource mobilization, build capabilities & implement all type of testing (Functional, Automation, Performance, Localization and UAT)
6. Implement testing standard processes, methodologies and tools.
7. Manage testers’ work throughout test preparation and test execution to ensure that testing is on time, met passed criteria and within budget
Defining the testing activities for subordinates - testers or test engineers.
All responsibilities of test planning. (Functional, Automation, Performance and UAT)
To check if the team has all the necessary resources to execute the testing activities.
To check if testing is going hand in hand with the software development in all phases.
Prepare the status report of testing activities.
Required Interactions with customers.
Updating project manager regularly about the progress of testing activities.
Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
Implement/assist testing standard processes, methodologies and tools.Review the development process to ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re- testing and migration of defects) is properly addressed. If not, define the defect tracking process and incorporate it into the overall development process.
Manage testers’ work throughout test preparation and test execution to ensure that testing is on time and within budget.
Allocate test resources to application tests in a multi-test environment.
Ensure that all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
Manage and facilitate onshore-offshore communication if applicable.
Responsible for skill development, enhancement, assessment for the team and Build capabilities.
