▪ Set yearly plan of new testing list in coordination with key market originations and regional
marketing team based on market requirements
▪ Establish a living Firestop Engineering Judgement process organization, managing its processes
towards ensuring customer satisfaction, quality of products and services as well as productivity.
▪ Forecasting future manpower requirements

Provide technical sales support through telephone and email related business
▪ Create firestop engineering judgments for customers to solve field problems
▪ Meet assigned deadlines for task assignments
▪ Remain current in the knowledge of building codes relative to the application of Hilti Firestop
products
▪ Understand and apply approvals and listings for Hilti products correctly in verbal and written
communication with customers
▪ Provide engineering support through the composition of letters regarding the application of Hilti
products for external customers
▪ Provide Fire Protection Specialists with corporate support and relevant product information
▪ Support Chemicals Business Unit with introduction of new products/innovations (technical review
of documents)
▪ Present training materials to internal and external customers
▪ Assure internal and external customers receive quality answers to technical inquiries regarding the
use and/or application of Hilti Firestop products
▪ Research existing fire data to create engineering judgments/recommendations for field
applications that are not tested
▪ Complete smaller projects (e.g. presentations, small testing projects, etc.) to help support the
activities of Hilti Fire Protection Specialists and sales personnel
▪ Protect Hilti from liability exposure through utilization of sound engineering practices
▪ Ensure the adherence of firestop engineering judgments to relevant codes and Hilti standards.
▪ Working closely with Firestop Applicators (FSCs) in order to provide the best approved firestop
solutions.

Prepare specification write ups for Hilti engineering products (Anchors & firestop) and follow up with
specifier and influencers to get it included in project specification.
▪ Provide technical support to contractors on site through training and seminars to consultants and
influencers.
▪ Coordination with salesforce to ensure sales of specified engineering products.
▪ Develop strong relationship with the technical decision makers at customers offices to ensure high degree
of success in achieving Hilti products specification.
▪ Rides with sales team to solve contractor issues using Hilti engineering products and assists them in
closing sales opportunities of Hilti engineering products through coaching and guidance.
▪ Supports Marketing department with competition information gathering and market sensing activities as
directed by Filed Engineering Manager.

Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour
Syria - Damascus
Primary responsibilities:
▪ Structural engineering designs for all facilities related to the ministry.
▪ Supervision of various projects under the ministry.
▪ Ensure work complies with codes and permits
▪ Continually monitor progress of projects and review reports to ensure compliance with schedule
▪ Coordinate with other departments within office to ensure proper handover of job information

Designs drawings on “AutoCAD” for Firestop systems.
▪ Post-installed Anchor and Post-installed rebar designs in accordance with European standard.
▪ Preparation of bill of materials for the designed solutions and preparation of submittal documents
to support the proposed solution for Hilti engineering products
▪ Preparation of technical submittals requested by field engineers.
▪ Maintenance of the engineering library with up to date manuals, publications, and electronic
documents in coordination with the Marketing department or Headquarters.
▪ Provides telephone technical support for customers requiring immediate attention.
▪ Prepares, presents and trains the technical aspects of new products to the field engineers when
required.
▪ Collaborate on project execution with different Hilti departments such as sales, global logistics or
finance within own market organization or across countries.
▪ Ensure the adherence to relevant codes and Hilti standards in project engineering.
