Compliance Responsibilities:
Preparing and reviewing comprehensive compliance policies and procedures that include all
Laws, regulations, instructions and practices applied to the bank’s activities subject to the
approval of the Compliance Committee.
Designing and setting a system for preparing internal reports of compliance monitoring and self-
assessment of non-compliance risks.
Coordination between SAMA and the bank regarding compliance and among all bank's
departments to ensure good understanding and appropriate application of
instructions.
Conducting an annual review to verify all guidelines in the policies and procedures applied in the
bank to ensure their conformity with all regulations and instructions issued by SAMA and they
are complied with.
Updating policies and measures periodically to ensure the bank’s compliance with the latest
regulations and instruction issued by SAMA related to all activities of the branch.
Assess and review ICBC-Riyadh branch products and ensure they comply with the
relative Laws and their Implementing Regulations.
Provides quarterly reports, and as directed or requested by the Head of Compliance,
to keep the Board and senior management informed of the operation and progress of
compliance efforts.
Prepare and submit compliance annual report issued by SAMA.
Receive all circulars issued by SAMA and include them in the bank's database and direct them
to the concerned department and ensure that they are applied correctly.
PROFILE
EXPERIENCE
Continually creating an environment of a compliance culture in the bank, and enhancing
employee awareness and positive thinking of the importance of compliance in the bank as a
whole and adhering thereto while performing their duties through periodic meetings and
awareness messages.
Comply with all requirements for appointments to Senior Positions in Financial Institutions
supervised by (SAMA) and ensure proper documentations and coordinate with Head of
Compliance for all of the related issues.
Coordinate with the Human Resources Department and others as appropriate to develop an
effective compliance and AML training program, including appropriate introductory training for
new employees as well as ongoing training for existing employees and managers.
AML/CTF Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the ICBC-Riyadh branch complies with the AML law and any other applicable
AML-CTF legislation and regulations.
Monitoring changes of local AML Regulations that require revisions to the ICBC-Riyadh branch
AML/CFT policies.
Coordinate with the IT Department and vendors to develop and resolve issues related to AML
System and update scenarios, sanction lists.
Performed investigations in response to internal transaction monitoring system referrals or
events detailing suspicious activity.
Communicate with SAMA and respond to all requirements received by the bank through
circulars or SAMANET.
Prepare and submit AML quarterly reports on the effectiveness of the AML/CTF controls to Head
of Compliance and General Manager of ICBC Riyadh branch.
Prepare and submit AML/CTF Questionnaire and Data collection report to SAMA.
Reviewed and approved the new customers documents.
Reviewed customer documentation including KYC information to cross-reference with account
activity to ensure accurate risk levels have been assigned to the specific accounts held in the
customer's name.
Implementing solutions to the SAMA observations in their inspection visit for AML/CTF Unit
Implementing solutions to the Internal Audit observations for AML/CTF unit.

Assisting Bank Departments in the Implementation of Compliance & AML updates, monitoring, and
regulatory reporting, which includes:
Ensure that AML Plan is put into place in the Business, and to ensure that all elements of AML
Plan are acted upon and implemented by all departments as per requirements.
Encourage an atmosphere of proper compliance across all departments in order to ensure key
risks are adequately covered.
Review Policies, Procedures, and Forms to ensure that they are adequately adhering to the
regulations.
Reporting suspicious activities to the authorities and acting as a key contact.
Investigate and report all suspicious transactions to the FIU.
Receiving and studies suspicious reports from all departments and branches.
