Currently working as Manager Revenue Management Strategy at Qatar Airways, responsible for providing the leadership and strategic direction for effective management of revenue optimization functions. Ensure constructive and collaborative relationships of revenue management demand and pricing functions with key stake-holders in the head office and outstations to support efficient and effective decision-making. Has been instrumental in leading key strategic initiatives in the commercial department. Some of these include the implementation of NDC across QR network, development of new reporting platforms (Commercial Information System and new RM Portal), fine-tuning of various RM processes and active participation in the recruitment and mentoring of new talent in the department.
Maximize the station specific revenue, implement regional pricing strategies and fare products after analysis of fares and schedules of competitors. Historical data analysis in terms of revenue, capacity, load factor, yield, seasonality and traffic mix to derive information for future decision making. Effectively manage group business to avoid any loss of revenue by carrying out economic evaluation of all group requests and action them within the agreed service levels. Propose and proactively implement pricing and yield management strategies and Measure the impact of pricing changes on demand and revenue.
Preparation of research proposals (including type of research, research methodology, sample size, respondent profiles in terms of age, gender and socioeconomic classification, geographic coverage, project timelines and costs), data analysis and report writing, design of questionnaires and Focus Group Discussion Guidelines, supervision and execution of field activities in coordination with field executives, coordination and liaison with clients and with in-house departments e.g. Quality Control, Field, and Data Punching for smooth and timely completion of projects.
