Analysis of financial data as per applicable accounting standard, regulations and business requirements.
Implementation of business requirements in the product based on US GAAP and other accounting standards (IAS-39, FAS-91, FAS-65, FAS-114, SOP 03-3).
Creating complex scenarios of loan's life-cycle events with expected results to make sure product is generating correct results as per US GAAP and applicable accounting standard. Loan life-cycle events include Amortization Schedules of Fee (based on Effective Yield and Straight-Line method), Accruals, Payment of Principal and/or Interest, Prepayments, Bad-debts, Balance Transfer, Foreclosure, Loan Sale, Loan Termination etc.
Implementation of Non-Accrual Accounting into the product.
Loan’s Impairment, IRR, NPV calculation based on the net-estimated cash flows calculated by different valuation techniques.
Validation of new features in the product related to loan accounting as per applicable accounting standard and regulation.
To hold company-wide presentations to demonstrate the developed feature, its use and possible business prospects.
To hold sessions to be able to better analyze rapidly changing client needs, complex and complicated scenarios and testing of the product.
Knowledge-sharing sessions with new hires.
Performed statutory audit of AKD Securities Limited (largest brokerage house in Pakistan) for the year ended 30 June 2013.
Completed statutory audit of State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, Shakarganj Energy (Pvt) Limited and Apna Microfinance Bank Ltd as Audit Associate.
Managed other special assignments which include Due-Diligence and Internal Audit.
