•Working as Sr. Mechanical Engineer for Commercial & Residential Buildings.
• Detailed study of design from Buro Happold and implement the Design with suitable standards and best practices.
• Review shop drawings and material submittal against the Design drawings and design strategy.
• Review Quotations for sub-contractor for required specialist works such as BMS, Fire pump start-up and complete running of the firefighting system, all major HVAC equipment.
• Review weekly site progress against contractor’s Project base line and Internal Payment certificate.
• Review of calculations for rerouting for the services where ever required as per actual site condition.
• Review of work inspections for the completed site works.
• Review and approve method statements, Notice to proceed certificate etc...
• Issue Site Instructions and Non-Confirmation Report if any discrepancy is noticed at the site during the site walk.
• Working as Client Repetitive as Mechanical Engineer for On-going and New projects.
• Detailed study of design amendments as per actual site conditions and manufacturers recommendations and coordinate with the designers for changes.
• Inviting Sub Contractors for bidding of Mechanical Works.
• Negotiation and setting standard of payments and work at site by the contract before awarding the contract.
• Re-design the mechanical system and study the project budget and inform the owner for any changes made in actual design.
• Re-Evaluating the project as per actual site condition and prepare the Equipment Schedule. As owner made some changes in actual design.
• Manage the required mechanical installation at the site, i.e. builders work drawings and plumbing works, until the MEP Sub Contractor is finalised.
• Preparation of SHOP Drawings and execute the work at site, plumbing only, as the owners himself is the contractor at this site.
• Procurement of material as per project requirement.
• Working as Client Repetitive as Mechanical Engineer for Ongoing and New projects.
• Complete Designing of Centrifugal Chiller Plant of 4500 TR and 2500 TR for two Towers.
• To prepare Tender Documents and invite subcontractor for quotation of Mechanical works.
• To prepare contract documents for MEP subcontractor as per the requirements and award the projects to contractors.
• To manage the required mechanical installation with main contractor until the MEP Sub Contractor is finalised.
• Main responsibilities includes, attending weekly meetings with consultant for project progress.
• Study the design amendments as per actual site conditions and manufacturers recommendations and coordinate with the designers for changes.
• Manage with planning departments for impact in project delays caused due to change in design etc..
• To see whether the payments to the contractor are as per project progress and actual completed works and settle down the payment with financial department.
• Working as senior mechanical inspector for KAFD site in MEP team.
• To coordinate and conclude with QS, the weightages of each services with its breakdown for internal payment to the contractor, and also to interlink the system with Inspection request log which helped to evaluate payment as claimed by the contractor.
• Responsibilities include carrying out inspection of materials, equipment and the installation works are as per specification and standards.
• Referring the standard codes such as NFPA, SMACNA, ASTM, IPC etc.. for any rectification or rerouting to be carried out as per site conditions.
• Control site installation and safety measures on daily basis.
• Checking that contractor is using proper approved shop drawing, and material at site is in compliance with approved material.
• Refer to the relevant engineers, supervisors, of day to day construction activities, control field works and implement/Maintain effective environmental control.
• Ensure all site activities comply with relevant spaces and records are kept updated.
• Preparing daily site report for the ensuring works in progress and issue site observation notices for rectifications of the same.
• Review shops drawing s at site for any modifications or rectification as per site conditions and oversee inclusion in as built drawings.
• Monitoring the progress as per project planning department.
Execution of HVAC system, Fire fighting and plumbing system.
•Completion of project on time with minimum resources and with full satisfaction of Client.
•Slashed project cost by 20 % through negotiation with vendors on lucrative equipments and Introducing latest technology of pre-installed modules of MEP services which helped reduced manpower and time of installations.
•Preparation of progress charts for procurement, submittals, drawings, etc.
•Preparation of material submittals, labor histograms and material planning.
•Preparation of daily & monthly progress reports.
•Preparation of mechanical shop drawings & implementing changes in services to suit actual site conditions, authority’s regulations and coordinating with other services.

•Follow up with Authorities (DEWA, municipality and civil defense) during preparation of as built drawing till final handing over of the project.
•Preparation of inspection test plan, method statement, pre-commissioning / commissioning check list, testing procedures and test certificates, follow up guidelines of the client engineer, specification requirements integrated with company’s quality system.
