Responsibilities as Accounts Assistant
• Passing the Journal Vouchers (JV) of Provisions every month end.
• Allocating other day to day expenses charged to different departments through journal vouchers.
• Verifying & checking if a specific Expense or Revenue is posted correctly in their respective accounting code in the system. If not then taking the corrective measures before the accounting month closes.
• Checking the Payroll report of the department every month.
• Passing the monthly repetitive rent JV.
• Checking and updating the Overtime of drivers.
• Working out the camp cost details of the employees & charging to respective accounting codes through journal voucher.
• Preparing Fleet utilization working.
• Preparing various collate data required for preparation of monthly MIS.
• Passing entries for Barter deal rent at hotel desks.
• Preparing and arranging for overseas payment like Attorney charges etc.
Main Responsibility:-
As an Accounts Assistant my main responsibility is to prepare the Profit & Loss a/c of the company under the supervision of my seniors. It includes:-
• Preparing the Profit & Loss a/c of the company.
• Preparing the Profit & Loss a/c of all the satellite locations.
• Preparing the Profit & Loss a/c of the Tenders customers (like ministry of information, Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait Airways Corporation etc.)
