Brief Description:
As Quantity surveyor, I completed 400KV XLPE underground cable circuit between Bahia & Sadiyaat Grid stations 26KM long route (1Cx2500mm total 200KM) project.
Now assigned to the Project of 320 kV HVDC submarine cables circuit between Al Ghallan Island and onshore converter stations at Al Mirfa.
My main task quoted below,
Responsible for all cash-in and cash-out invoices from progress measurements to draft invoices until final payment certificate approvals
Checking & certifying Subcontractor invoices (Civil, Electrical, Telecom, MEP & Structural)
Managing Cashflow & records of all subcontractors for reconciliation & H.O reporting
Cost Control & Project Budget management
Preparing monthly financial forecast & cash flow with complete updates
Dealing with Subcontractor extra claims, Cost control & variation orders
Preparation & additions of variation orders
Final Reconciliation along with balance/pending claims
Dealing with consultant for all site measurement inspections & approvals
Handling all the commercial issues related to subcontract & main contract
Assisting for EOT, Delay claims, Variation Order & BOQ adjustments
Doing Site visits for measurement inspections and work progress updates
Final Handing Over of the Project
Final accounts closing for subcon’s & client’s side

Here my main Tasks are quoted below,
Preparing & Submitting all valuations and final accounts for clients invoicing
Holding full responsibility for the negotiations, valuations, interim and final accounts
Making daily, weekly and monthly progress reports comparing to quantity & amount
Preparing and presenting detailed contract review data to the management and projects director on a monthly basis, providing accurate contract performance projections in terms of both revenue and gross margin
Monitoring & tracking work progress to Ensure they are delivering work as per schedule & targeted forecast value
Preparing monthly and annual forecasts for management with complete references
Managing & Dealing with variation claims & contractual claims
Preparing BOQ & Cost estimations for subcontracts & additional works
Updating of BOQ & potential invoice forecast as & when required
Taking & verifying quantities from IFC drawings
Visiting Site as and when required to monitor progress
Dealing with site instructions, day work & reimbursable item claims
Checking & verifying work-packs & work packages as per drawing’s & schedules
Keeping all records of complete quantification for electrical, telecom, instrument & Cathodic protection disciplines
Doing Material & final quantity reconciliation & final close out of project
Punch List, Loop folder & Loops check stage claims
Keeping eye on material deliveries & extra works to increase monthly invoice value

1- EPC project of 4600MW RPP10 combined cycle power plant (January -2013 to April-2016)

Producing monthly application/valuation including variation breakdowns for draft and final accounts
Fully Responsible for Client Invoicing of E&I installation, materials, Testing & Commissioning
Making daily, weekly and monthly material and installation reports
Checking & keeping record of RFIW & RFIM (Work & Material RFI’s)
Managing cash flow and valuation plans for management review
Taking progress from project site
Taking & tracking progress from DPR, WPR & MPR’s

Maintaining updating/record for Change Order’s, Site Instructions & variations
Giving advise & guideline for contract & commercial issue’s to site team
Coordinating with Procurement & Proposals department regarding material issues
Worked as MEP Quantity Surveyor with Bahria Town company on Bahria Golf City project.

Worked as Jr. Quantity Surveyor with skyways construction company which is subsidiary of skyways group of companies.

Taking measurements and valuations of all construction works like plaster, Block masonry, Concrete, Paint, Epoxy Paint, Wood works, Aluminium works, Water Proofing works, MEP works, Tiles and flooring and also Gypsum working
