Construction Manager for Arabland by Akoya Oxygen DAMAC
• Managing resources to construct & deliver the project on time as per specifications, IFC drawings, BOQ and contract duration.
• Overseeing and clearing NCRs, field instructions, inspection requests, engineers instructions, site observation reports, DDA compliance reports, work intimation with DEWA etc.
• Proactively obtaining authority approvals from DDA, DEWA & Civil Defence for structural inspections, demarcation, mobilization, NOC, building completion certificates.
• Coordinating for submission and obtaining approvals of engineering documents related to the contract and project with consultant.
• Forecast, analyze and mitigate the risk factors, skilled manpower, materials, logistics and resources.
• Managing execution of residential building apartments, pump room, water tank, shoring, piling, swimming pool, club house, huge structural steel canopy, connection bridge, landscaping etc
• Making enquiries, collecting sub-contractor quotations and execution as per program of works.
• Involved in value engineering & cost saving.
• Liaise between the Resident Engineer & the Client through letters, emails and attending meetings.
• Submission of project to the client as per the requirements of Municipality Department, DDA, Civil Defense and DEWA inspections.
• Examine estimates of material, equipment and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy

• Project management and execution of project as per the drawings, dates of schedule with quality and progress.
• Executing the Project as per the BOQ and specifications of the project.

• Documenting the checklists and WIR prepared for every single work activity by the site engineers and get it and relating it to the sub-contractor invoices.
• Material forecasting and follow up with procurement team for the delivery on time to avoid delays in work execution.
• Coordination with the consultants for the site technical issues and bringing the technical solutions without delays by raising RFIs and getting site instructions.
• Preparing work sequences, documenting, circulating and ensuring the same with the site engineering team.
• Preparing checklists for each and every work activity and ensuring to bring down quality issues to a negligible extent.
• Preparing work micro schedules for every activity and follow up with the site engineers to achieve the scheduled targets.
• Minimize Material wastages by ensuring quantity of materials issued to the contractors and rising debit/ memorandums for material wastages.
• Minimize Labor expenses by ensuring the work activities by prioritizing as per work sequences of every activity.
•Monitoring the site engineers about every technical or material issues and bringing solutions without causing delays.
• Project management and execution of project as per the drawings, dates of schedule with quality and progress .
• Collaborated with the structural, architectural, plumbing, landscaping consultants and receiving the latest updated drawings at every level of project execution.
• Solving the issues at the construction site by giving the instructions at every level of execution.
• Attending the RFI's from the contractors and giving quick assistance on the same.
• Successfully worked on the RETROFITTING for the sub structure of the project.
• Responsible for the execution of sub soil drainage and MEP of the sub structure for the project.
• Reviewed and assisted for execution of structures UG SUMP, Shore Piling, Structural steel works, swimming pool, Club house, Steel Bridges etc.
• Increased safety rating of high-level project by 20-25% by identifying and resolving severe structural issues.
• Tested soils and materials to determine foundation strength as per the requirement of standards.
• Identified and resolved potential structural issues.
• Operated large commercial projects under budget with effective management of people and materials.
