Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Managing and allocating resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient operations and project execution.
• Managing and leading a team of employees, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure they work effectively and efficiently.
• Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations in the oil and gas industry to prevent accidents and protect the environment.
• Monitoring and maintaining the quality of services provided to ensure they meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Managing the financial aspects of operations, including cost control, budgeting, and cost-effectiveness analysis to maximize profitability.
• Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and assess the performance of the operations and make data-driven decisions.
• Play a proactive role in procurement, cost management, and reporting to maximize project margins during the
execution phase.
• Perform weekly evaluations of work in progress, accurately assessing the current state of projects and facilitating informed decision-making.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency and implementing changes as necessary.
• Prepare and create method statements and Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs) for new tenders and ongoing projects, aligning them with project requirements and specifications.
• Review and provide approval for technical documentation prepared by the Document Controller, ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Ensuring that the company's operations align with environmental regulations and industry-specific regulations related to oil and gas services.
• Developing and implementing emergency response plans to address potential crises or incidents in the oil and gas sector.
• Overseeing the logistics and supply chain to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with operations, including regulatory compliance and environmental concerns.
• Support in conducting thorough reviews of tender drawings, specifications, schedule of rates, and draft contract agreements, promptly identifying and addressing any discrepancies with the Client/Consultant.
• Review technical tender requirements and effectively distribute them to the relevant stakeholders.
• Draft detailed and specific contract agreements, minimizing potential disputes throughout the project.
• Obtain, analyze, and meticulously track quotes from vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and quality materials.
• Prepare variation claims in strict accordance with the site instructions issued by the client, advocating for fair and accurate adjustments.
• Maintaining records, generating reports, and documenting all aspects of operations for compliance, analysis, and decision-making purposes.
