Assist the Finance Manager in South Africa to prepare finance reports for the Uganda office.
Assist in the annual budget preparation and prepare monthly budget control statements and ensure account holders explain the variances there from.
Prepare cashbooks, Bank and audit reconciliations with head office in South Africa.
Prepare periodic donor reports on subsidized products and services.
External and internal audit coordination and answering audit queries there from.
Regulatory reporting and payments (VAT, Withholding taxes and corporate tax).
Manage high volume of petty cash in multiple currencies and ensure that the cash flow forecast is updated on weekly basis.
Prepare payroll taking into account all statutory deductions and salary advances.
Fleet Management, Stock control, and update fixed assets Register.
Handle all matters relating to billing customers and attend to related queries thereto.
Oversee debtors and creditors function.
Responsible for clearance of imported goods into Uganda and re-exports of equipments.
Manage, train new finance staff.

Bachelors of Business Administration (Accounting Option). Among the subjects that were done, include: Fundamental Accounting principles; Intermediate Accounting; Advanced Accounting; Principles of Taxation; Income Tax and Costing & Management Accounting and Principles of Auditing. Researched and wrote a dissertation on the Effects of Record Keeping on Tax Compliance in Small Scale Enterprises in Uganda, a case study of Kampala Business Area. This was a partial fulfillment for my Bachelors Degree.
