Key Functions:
● Liaise with architect, consultants, tenants, and subcontractors.
● Project and site admin, including raising queries
● Coordinating free flow of information to and from professional team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
● Meetings (Client, Consultants, Subcontractors, Staff & Management)
● Produce reports
● Co-ordinate and manage fit out and processes.
● Manage Health, safety, and environment.
● Manage Foreman, labor, and subcontractors.
● Set short term programs based on the master program.
● Manage project in terms of quality, time, and budget.
● Materials control
● Attend to latent defects.
Western Cape Education Department: Framework Contract
● Project manage the maintenance works of various schools of a combined value of R110 million.
Works entailed ablution upgrades, electrical upgrades, roof replacement, redoing stormwater and sewerage networks, construction of school hall and new ablution blocks.
The Triple
● Construction of a new seven story apartment block, including line shops on ground floor. Project value of R70 million.
Old Cape Quarter
● Strengthening of existing concrete columns and basements level one, two and three. Ground floor commercial area (shops and restaurants), new level one to level five high end apartments (apartment value ranging from R5-R28 million). Project value of R260 million.
Vredenburg Hospital
● Construction of a new admin building, mortuary, maternity ward, and psychiatric ward. Project value of R200 million.
Krystal Beach Hotel
● Complete new configuration of the hotel suites, including all mechanical, electrical and plumbing services. All rooms and bathrooms were rebuilt based on a new layout and finishes. Contract value of R90 million.
