• Provide customer with technical solutions to operation and maintenance problems; promote the use of the available SIEMENS Service products, technology and installation resources.
• Conduct operational audits at Customer premises to provide technical advice on operation problems and maintenance procedures.
• Put together technical and commercial proposals for installation & commissioning, overhaul, maintenance, repair and refurbishment schemes to Customer’s requirements while being responsible for the profit & loss element of projects.
• Discuss / negotiate and finalize the proposal with Customer. Act as focal point in coordinating site activities and scheduling of manpower on identified projects.
• Provide technical assistance on installation, startup, servicing, overhauls, and troubleshooting of SIEMENS made equipment i.e. centrifugal compressor, gas turbine, steam turbine, reciprocating compressor)) throughout the Asia Pacific region.
• Write clear, concise daily reports to keep factory and field personnel accurately appraised of job progress and to protect the company from liability for problems resulting from customer deviations from SIEMENS standards.
• Monitor project schedule, cost and issues, prepare project progress report, arrange project progress report meeting, prepare and follow up project progress report meeting MOM, weekly and monthly project progress reporting, highlight project issues requiring intervention from project manager and compile project issues and lesson learnt.
• Point of contact between Client & Factory and responsible in resolving any technical and commercial issues that arise during project execution phase.
• Drive project towards the objective while closely monitor cost, time and resources available.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors scope and supply, documents deliverables and delivery are within the time, cost and resources allocated.
• Assigned to site as Project/Operations Manager whenever required

As well as a number of Overhauls, Maintenance and Proposal Development.
1. Produced deliverables such as Job Specification, Material Requisitions, Scope of Supply, Data Sheet and Selection Report in accordance to Project Requirement, Client Technical Standards and International Codes and Standards (i.e API 610, API 674/675, API 676, API 682 etc.)
3.Reviewed technical bids from various vendors in order to ensure that the equipment/package offered are technically and commercially acceptable while complying with the project requirement.
4. Tabulated and evaluated all the bids in terms of technical engineering acceptability and hence selected the best design with the advice and guidance from Principal/ Lead Engineer.
5. Prepared evaluation report which consists of the technical and commercial aspect of the selection criteria for the use of Project Management team during Short listing/Award Meeting.
7. Execute detailed engineering to guarantee the equipment/package designs are in accordance to Project requirement.
8. Reviewed all Vendor submitted documents and drawings such as General Arrangement Drawings, P&ID, Equipment Data Sheet, Inspection and Test Plan Calculations and etc.
9. Liaised closely with vendors and other disciplines to resolve any technical issues that arise throughout the detail engineering phase by having weekly teleconference meeting with Vendors.
10. Provide expert technical advice to Client with matters/issues related to the packages. Seek the best solution and mutual understanding with Client and Vendors before reaching to a solution/decision.
11. Work closely with Rotating Lead Engineer in technical/commercial decision making for all responsible packages. At the same time assisting Rotating Lead Engineer with any task related to project that was assigned.
12. Monitor the progress of the responsible requisiton on a day to day basis and interface with Project Engineer to avoid any possible delay and cost impact.
13. Monitor document submission by vendor on a weekly basis to avoid late submission.
