1- Establish the Internal Audit activity and the related charter, policies, procedures, and structure,
2- Implementing action plans related to risk assessment and annual planning, audit execution, audit reporting, staff recruiting and development, and Audit Committee reporting.
3- Performing the annual risk assessment to develop the internal audit risk-based plan.
4- Oversee the execution of individual audits defined in the audit plan ensuring the highest level of service quality and client satisfaction.
5- Issue all Internal Audit reports ensuring the reports are clear, concise, identify root causes with practical solutions, and ultimately provide value to management.
6- Meet regularly with the Audit Committee to report the Internal Audit Engagements, the status of Internal Audit’s ongoing monitoring activities, and inform the committee of the highlighted risks or exposures that should be considered, with respect to risk management and internal control best practices.
7- Proactively inform senior management of significant risks or exposures related to internal controls, compliance, and governance requiring prompt attention.
8- Tracking, follow-up, and ultimately close all open audit observations leveraging the Audit Committee, if necessary.
9- Actively participate in executive management meetings to ensure that Internal Audit is well-informed of key business developments that could have an impact on audit priorities and plans.
10- Interview, hire and retain a team of audit professionals who possess outstanding knowledge, experience, ethics, and integrity.
11- Ensure that Internal Audit is performing its work in accordance with established professional standards.
12- Coordinate the activities of external auditors including how best to leverage the work performed and results produced from Internal Audit’s work.
13- I am the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, NRC Committee and Executive Committee secretary, who is responsible for arranging meetings and providing the Board and committees requirements and inquiries to the Management, Assurance from applying the Governance over the Board and its committees.
14- I have experience in the IPO process and requirements and the company delegate me to review the company's prospectus before applying to the Main Market in the Saudi Stock Market.
1- Participate with Manager in determining the risk-based audit plan.
2- Working in all type of audit (Finance, Operational and compliance)
3- Participate with Manager in assessing industry risks, best practices, key risks of the Group to assist in Risk assessment.
4- Develop an understanding of financial, operational and system processes and relevant controls of the Group.
5- Develop of Audit programs after assessing of risk to meet the audit objective.
6- Ensure organized and accurate working papers that support conclusion for each audit objective. Also ensure analysis of findings and interpretation of pertinent regulations to findings.
7- Pre-audit data analysis and project timeline planning
8- Drafting Audit report and getting management response during the final communications with client.
9- Assist in recruiting, developing and motivating Internal Audit staff
1- Assist the IA Director / Assistant Manager - IA in preparing the IA Department Budget and Resource Plans and periodically monitoring actual cost vs. budgeted figures
2- Effectively plan the audit engagements, ensure timely communication with auditees, define the scope, objectives and timelines - this should be done in consultation with the IA Manager/ Assistant Manager-IA.
3- Develop risk based audit programs that reflects key risks and clear understanding of business operations, departmental / process goals and objectives
4- Perform audits as per Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards and IAD Guidelines, supervise and review the work of junior audit staff assigned to the audit engagement, and ensure that deliverables are completed on time and within the budget.
5- Complete all assigned internal audit engagements for the year a per IA Strategy
6- Conduct special audits (ad--hoc reviews) and other tasks as assigned by - the IA Manager / Assistant Manager - IA
7- Prepare presentations, to report audit results to the Board of Directors.
8- Prepare and maintain internal audit working papers, IA Memos, administrative records and other internal communications as per Records Management and IIA working Paper Standards
9- Identify, analyze and evaluate potential issues, then facilitate the resolution of such issues by developing recommendations to enhance internal control processes and information systems.
10- Assist the IA Manager / Assistant Manager - IA in preparing the Development / Training Plan for IA Department.
1- Surveys functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of the system of control for achieving established objectives.
2- Assists in determining the direction of the proposed audit effort.
3- Assists in planning the theory and scope of the audit, and prepares or assists in preparing an audit program.
4- Assist in determining the auditing procedures to be used.
5- Identifies the key control points of the system.
6- Performs the audit in a professional manner and in accordance with the approved audit program.
7- Assists in making, oral or written presentations to Internal Audit Supervisor/Manager. Discuss deficiencies, and recommends corrective actions to improve operations and reduce cost.
8- Assists in preparing formal written reports, expressing opinions on the adequacy & effectiveness of the system and the efficiency with which activities are carried out.
9- Assists in appraising, the adequacy of the corrective actions taken to improve deficient conditions.
10- Performs any other task assigned by Supervisor and/or Group Internal Audit Manager
11- Ensuring that assets are safeguarded.
