Hydro Test Package Review
Preparation & submission of Pre Qualified WPS as per AWS D1.1 for approval
Pre parathion and submission of Quality control procedure for welding.
Preparation & Submission of welder JCC’s (Job Clearance Card) for approval.
Witness and review of WQT and PQR.
Issuance as well as closing of NCR’s.
Carrying out the Inspection of incoming materials & other welding consumables & reviewing relevant documents and test certificates
Carrying out various types of Inspections as per approved ITP such as:
a) Fit-up inspections of items.
b) Weld visual inspections.
c) Witnessing / reviewing of NDT inspections.
Liaise with clients and Third Party Inspectors.
Preparing daily welding reports & NDT Co-ordination.
Raising RFI and updating in QMIS.
Attending RT repairs.
Witness/ Review of Non Destructive Exams like - Visual, RT, UT, MPT and DPT.
Monitor/ Review /Witness of activities like Pre heat, PWHT and PMI.
Selection of an appropriate inspection/NDT techniques as per codes/standards and specification.
Assist in testing & certifying welders and welding procedures specifications as per ASME Sec 1X & AWS D1.1. Review of WPS, PQR, and NDT procedures & qualification of NDT technician.
Checking all welding activities is in compliance with the applicable code, standards and specification.
Ensure full compliance with company safety regulations and HSE management systems.
Coordination with client / consultant for final inspection.
