Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze the engineering drawings and the client standards at the beginning stage.
Give direct instructions to subcontractor in line with the project priorities.
Clearly give the targets to subcontractor in line with the work plan
Review Plans and Drawings In Accordance With Specifications, Codes And Standards.
Carry out inspection and check for all quality-related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site
are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
Inspection on daily ongoing activities at work site.
Coordinate with the consultant's representative and Site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality .
Checking all work with drawing and making correction if any.
Preparation of all the related documents and files.
Supervision of Motor Control Center (MCC), MV/LV switchgears, transformers installation on substation
Supervision of MV/LV termination on Motor Control Center (MCC), MV/LV switchgears, transformer on
substation
Inspection & Installation of Ladder and cable tray as per NEMA VE1 & VE2
Purchase Electrical Items, Control Panel, Convertor, EMT Fitting accessories, etc.
Access Control, and Video Management System
Instrumentation and security systems:
Fixed CCTV and Long-Range Cameras
Security Access control system (SACS)
BMS (Building Management System) FACP, Fire Alarm System.
Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of all the related system with the concern of Vendor and Client
representatives.
Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction
required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract.
Carry out inspection and check for all quality-related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are
as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
Coordinate with the consultant's representative and Site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality
problems.
Routing of cables, installation of equipment and its termination as per the design.
Co-ordination of electrical work with client and vendor.
Witness Low & Medium voltage cable - Inspection of Cable type and voltage rating, meggering and continuity
test on cable drums. Monitor the Cables laid according to the specification.
Meggering and continuity to be done again after laying of cables. Dressing and Splicing of cables, Terminate
the core with proper lugs and approved termination kit.
Ensure work complies with project standards and specifications which involve inspection and checks for
installations of complete electrical works.
Power Transformers and Dry Type Transformers Installation Inspection.
Inspection of Installation Lighting System Such as Street Lightings, Area Lightings and Task Lightings.
Carrying out the inspection of exposed (EMT/RGS) installation as per the given approved shop drawing prior
to false ceiling closing.
Verify the location of cable trench/duct bank according to given approved shop drawing and installation of
LV, MV & Instrument cable tray in cable trench or above false ceiling.
Carrying out the installation inspection of wiring & LV cables and their inspection for continuity and
meggering.
Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by superiors.
Responsible for the over-all implementation of Quality Control related electrical works accordance with
project specifications and Engineering Standards.
Making and checking whole work according to the drawing provided
Worked on control panel, panel termination, cable termination, lighting, cable tray works, grounding and
tagging.
Testing of all cables, motors, and its control system as per the project specification.
Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of all the related system with the concern of Vendor and Client
representatives.
Coordinate with engineers, planners, field personnel, or other utility workers to provide information such
as clearances, switching orders, or distribution process changes.
Prepare weekly inspection reports, surveillance reports, non-conformance reports and verification of
corrective actions
Prepare RFI regarding clarification on IFC drawings, engineering matters or aspects with the client
Conduct safety tool box meeting with the co-worker prior to work.
Issue of NCRs & Site Instructions and implementing the corrective actions in conformance with the client's
standards & Specs.
Raise NCR and SI for subcontractor if the work is not in accordance with approved shop drawings, approved
material, project standards and specification.
Survey at field and the activities, resolve the technical construction and quality issues, whenever occurs.
Direct personnel engaged in controlling and operating distribution equipment or machinery, such as
instructing control room operators to start generators.
Distribute or regulate the flow of power between entities, such as generating stations, substations,
distribution lines, or users, keeping track of the status of circuits or connections.
Implement Safety and Quality of works to ensure guaranteed services and satisfaction of client.
