Signal Rehabilitation Project is the rehabilitation of existing Standard III Interlocked 31 stations into Computer Based Interlocking (CBI) with Auto block and ATP system. This project is executed by the consortium of Bombardier Transportation and CRSC. In this scope I have Managed the ITC of IPU 950, OSS 950, EBILock 950, 25 Hz Phase sensitive Track Circuit, JEA73 Point Machine, JFV40 Point Detector, ASC2000 Axle Counting System etc..
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•To supervise and Direct the all installation, testing and Commissioning (ITC) activities of CBI System as per project Technical Specification.
•To hold regular meeting with Railways Head quarter team related to progress of Project work.
•To overall monitor and review the signaling design, implementation and installation, testing and commissioning of indoor and outdoor equipments.
•Weekly and monthly reporting to the headquarters about progress.
•Minimize exposure and risk on projects.
•Mentoring and guiding technicians for the technical problems.
•Make sure the quality standards are met; monitor sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained.
•Use technical expertise to provide recommendations on improvements to the operations and maintenance of the CBI system
•Manage Customer and Consortium Relationship vis a vis Technical issues.
•Technical support of the Project in front of the Customer and Consortium.
•Support and work with the cross-discipline Technical Teams (working groups) as required developing new solutions.
•Reviewing the design submissions related to Signaling System and providing the expert view in resolving critical design issues on signaling technologies such as Interlocking, Automatic train control and Automatic train protection.
•Managing and monitoring signaling design related interfaces and integration of other disciplines such as PSD, Rolling Stock, safety devices, Data communication etc.
•Evaluating signaling design from RAMS point of view and providing the expert view and input to the RAMS engineer.
•Supports the Team to ensure compliance to the technical requirements of the contract and ensure that Project Management gets alerted of any non-compliance at an early stage.
•Support the management and mitigation of the Technical Risks.
•Work with technical representative to obtain technical knowledge of BT/CRSC system
•Technical Team and PM to help resolve technical/programmatic issues.
•Attend audits all aspects of safety and security as per O&M Contract and per approved Operator safety plans and make recommendations to mitigate and/or resolve contract compliance issues.
•Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
•Track project progress weekly and prepare required reports.
